Hunky Dory

I ordered some takeaway grilled snapper today and I have to say it was the most delicious piece of fish I have had in years. So tasty and fresh, I was really really pleased. Thanks guys, I’ll definitely be back a lot.

Was extremely happy with my grilled salmon it was cooked to perfection and the herbs/spices were delicious.., my sister and dad loved their burgers, and I loved the batter on my potato cake/calamari. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I couldn’t believe the tiny portion size of the grilled flake, when I’ve had hunky dory in Melbourne it’s always been at least 3 times the size of what we got today, extremely disappointed as it wasn’t cheap and we waited 35 mins.

Ordered fish of the day with rice and Greek salad. Tasty, well seasoned and perfectly cooked fish! Love the option of brown rice instead of chips for a change and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Cool place with lovely staff and lots to choose from, but the food isn't excellent. I do think perhaps there's too much on the menu, and if they did a few things really well it work work in their favour.

Presentation was everything I didn't expect out of this restaurant it caught me by surprise. But my main review is towards how delicious the fish was I'm pretty sure they were fresh fish and not frozen. good job hunky dory I will be coming again.

I love this place. Ducked in here before a Coles to get a quick meal for the girls and I. Super friendly people. The Panko burger is off its head!!!!! Seriously. I rate harshly. And this is amazing. Can’t wait try try more.....

Been coming here since they opened! It's always worth the 20 mins drive to get the best fish, chips and calamari on the Gold Coast! Love the positive crew! Love the amazing food! Keep up the great service team x

Amazing quality food and incredible serving sizes. Very friendly staff. We would come often if we were locals (but sadly we aren’t).
