Hunky Dory

I had the battered barramundi with a light and tasty batter that added to the flavour of the fish. Chips were plentiful and fresh (perfectly cooked) and balanced with a fresh coleslaw. Staff were all smiles and the venue inviting. Worth a visit.

Lovely spot to grab a bite near the sea. The fish was so tender and just melts in your mouth. The staff were friendly and made great quality food at a great speed. Highly recommend this place!

I ordered a Hunky Dory bowl with grilled calamari and it was really fresh and tasty. Customer service was great and the dining area is nice and clean. Lots of options on the menu. Will definitely come back again 😋👌

Our first time eating there, great service nice people and really great food nothing over cooked, fresh salads, crunchy chips. We will be going back for sure. Keep up the good work.

Hunky dory in palm beach is absolutely amazing. The staff, the food and the atmosphere are always on point! Unlike the complainers in the reviews I don't wait for a bad experience to write a review to all of the restaurants I go to. This review may or maybe not have been sponsored by pineapple fritters.

Loved it was the best cooked Hake I have had. Was a great birthday meal. Mum loved her fish of the day. Will recommend this place to anyone.

Ended up here for lunch after another place we had intended to go was closed. The service was actually great but would not come back again otherwise. Unfortunately everything was far too heavily battered (even the seafood stick was battered) and not a nice batter either. The batter is stodgy and heavy and it drowned out any actual flavour of the items underneath. Along with this they completely forgot an item we ordered and none of the seafood came with lemon. It’s definitely over hyped and I feel reviews are deceiving going off what we experienced today. Just over $50 dollars for what is pictured plus another drink and 4 potato scallops.

Gone downhill since I was last in palm beach. Many of the great staff no longer there, small portions and cannot recommend Will not be going in again. Some locals have the same opinion sadly. Started well but gone backwards

Sorry to say , the fish has gone down. And I mean in size . I have been a regular customer here since Hunkys opened in Palm Beach. This Friday I ordered 1 piece of Grilled Barramundi ($12.50)& 1 piece of Battered Flake($8.50). When I got home & opened the boxes , I had to search to find the fish . Both were kids servings at best. I have had the calamari previously which was a huge serve & delicious. The staff are friendly enough & work hard, but fish sizes need to be looked at.

The owner was a Dream, the food he served me made my eyes twitch, I couldn't stuff my face quick enough of how delicious he was... his food, the size of his snapper gave me total satisfaction, filling all the right spots to my belly Would definitely be coming back for more ladies 😉
