Simply the best ramen. Clean premises, nice and attentive staff. Only downside is the queue (perhaps you could open the premises upstairs?)

The ramen in here is really good and the broth is extremely flavourful, you could choose your level of saltiness and how firm you want your noodles from (there normal is a bit more firmer than many other stores I've been to). The store is quite busy so you might need to wait for a while, the glass however, still had rice on the side of it but it didn't bother because the food was delicious.

Ordered their signature ramen via Uber eats and both the pork meat and broth was awful. Seasoning was entirely absent, with the noodles themselves tasting of uncooked flour. I don’t think the meal was even finished The reviews seem to indicate a pretty good standard overall so I find this very surprising. Our order was obviously rushed out the door and wasn’t checked over properly before going out to the customer.

Best ramen in Melbourne absolutely. The same customised order paper in Japan. But can’t feel any service. It’s just 25mins after opening. The only working hard one is the chef. Other staff moved baby chair and furnitures rudely, dropping off the cutlery just like Roberts. What surprised me is they get water from hand-washing tap. I can see clearly there’s another filter tap and every staff do that.👍👍👍👍

As expected, Hakata does not disappoint. The broth is on point, full of flavour and so creamy. The seasoning is perfect and not overpowering. It’s also worth nothing that you can choose the texture of noodle and salt level which will be done as requested without fail. I’m still let to revive soft when I order hard noodle. The place is busy and buzzing, probably not ideal spot to sit down and talk for hours on end, but definitely the beat if looking for good ramen Highly recommend

The best ramen I’ve ever tasted A very recommended restaurants to eat, so many people queue there to try the ramen

Needed to wait in a line for 40min for the service. Tonkotsu broth and store made noodle is authentic. Gyoza is just average.

If you love ramen or miss Japan like I often do then visiting these guys is an absolute MUST. Both the incredibly friendly + quick service and the delicious food were reminiscent of all the things I love about Japan. The ramen dishes are completely customisable - you can choose the softness of the noodles, saltiness of the broth, the level of spice, any additional toppings and other extras. I ordered the Signature Tonkotsu and it was perfection. The broth was so light but hearty, the pork melted in your mouth, the egg was perfectly runny in the middle, and the noodles themselves had a great consistency. This is the best ramen in Melbourne for a reason. The Gyoza were probably some of the best I’ve had. The dough was thin, they weren’t over-fried and the seasoning in the filling was spot on. I don’t know what the filling was exactly because they didn’t specify in the menu but they’re packed full of flavour. The Chicken Karaage came with a side of spiced pepper which I loved as an added saltiness to each bite. The pieces was perfectly moist and tender on the inside while still crispy on the outside. The batter wasn’t too thick at all so it was really enjoyable. Again, I can’t fault these and I’d order them next time too. If you ever have a chance to come here or if you’re looking for good comfort food, I highly recommend it. I can’t fault it and I can’t wait to be back again, especially when it’s colder!

The best ramen I had so far in Melbourne, the closest flavour to what I had in Japan, the noodle soup is the most important part of ramen, the soup was thick - rich of flavours, even only one piece of pork, still a 5 star! Chicken was tender, a bit of gingery tho.

First ever bowl of Tonkotsu Ramen. Not an expert of Tonkotsu style but I felt that the ramen indeed had the most creamiest broth of all other Ramen styles. I went for the God Fire Tonkotsu Ramen. A spicier version and it wasn't bad at all. Overall it was definitely a soulful bowl of noodles. Chashu could have been more softer but overall, I loved the experience of it. Surely coming back to try other ones.
