I looked up 'best pizza in Melbourne' and Gradi was on of the places that came up. Made the trip, ordered take away - was told the pizza would be 5 minutes or less, which I thought was suprisingly fast. Sure enough the pizza came out within 5 minutes. I thought the box felt a little cold but headed off anyway. Made it around 100 metres before deciding to have a slice - not only was the pizza uncut - it was stone cold, and I mean stone cold. When I tried to tear a piece out, the cheese stayed solid and the base just tore in a rough chunk and slide out from under the solid topping. Must have been sitting in the kitchen for hours - no other explanation. Bin material. Really bad.

Italian tonight at Gradi, one of my favs. Had an awesome experience, an even better one thanks to Alex who served us, top notch service from him, gave that magic touch to the experience for the night! Grazie Alex, and manager Alex! Will definitely be back, recommended!

The food was good. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful.

Pizza was exceptional! Hot chilli salami had a strong kick to it. Good atmosphere and facility. Prices are reasonable.
