Great place to go for some quick, simple Italian food. Love how busy it gets - it's a sign of a good reputation and good food.

I have been to Amiconi many times over decades but not for about two years. Dropped in for a very late lunch. Even though they were setting up for dinner nothing too much trouble. Impeccable service and the food spoke for itself. Beautiful veal for me in butter and fresh herbs and a lovely seafood pasta for my wife. If you want reasonably priced traditional Italian food with no pretensions you should drop in as people have for over 50 years. I'm tipping it will still be going for another 50 years if they don't touch the menu.

Amazing food, great waiter, really nice guy, and the coffee was definitely worthy of the awards they have won.

I am italian..... The octopus salad was in order andaccording the italian taste, not ruined by some shaved parmesan like in the US,the calamari ring fried can match a lot of seafood restaurants in Italy, not spoiled by stupid inventions of tasteless cooks! Grappa and limoncello are nice. Mr. Borsari is a nice fellow and always carefulto check on customers. If I am back in Melbourne I will visit again. Stefano from Torino Italy.

Eating at Da Noi is like being transported back to Italy. The food is flawless! I never knew a single olive could taste so good. The "feed me" menu was such a pleasure and one of the best and most memorable meals I have ever had. This restaurant has mastered the art of true Italian cuisine. I'm dreaming about the next time I can go back. I'm also allergic to nuts and the staff were great to make sure I had a no nut experience and the chef even made me a special improvised dessert- which was spectacular.

Overall a good experience. Service could have been better (appetizer plates were still on the table when mains were being served). Still, friendly staff and environment. Personally I found the experience at 400 Gradi (the original Gradi restaurant in Brunswick) to have slightly tastier food and service, it was less commercial. However, for a large group, the crown restaurant was more suitable. Food was good, chocolate pudding was amazing at both restaurants. Must have, if you love rich chocolate with soft ice cream!
