Fratelli Fresh

The food was quite tasty, as was the wine. A couple of issues though; there was no enforcement of Covid check in - at all. Also, our mains came out first, then the entrees about 20 minutes later. The wine arrived well after we’d finished the meal and only after speaking with the waiter twice. Apologetic staff, but they need to lift their game.

What a big let down. We will not be going back to this establishment ever again. My family and I went to see an event at the ICC which finished at 2pm we then decided to go and have a late lunch. My wife and I both ordered a pasta dish each and we ordered chicken nuggets with chips for our 18 month year old. The chips and chicken nuggets took 30 minutes to come out and our two pasta dishes took 1 hour to come out. In a very polite way we asked the waiter on 3 seperate occasions if our pasta dishes were far away, and the response was that the dishes were on their way. When the dishes finally came out I very politely asked the waiter may I know why our dishes took so long to come out and the response "sorry we are very busy and some tables have been waiting for almost 2 hours for their meals". I mean why would you even say that? It is unprofessional and damaging to the business as a whole. I then suggested that to the gentleman that they should be monitoring what events are on so that they can plan accordingly and at the very least tell the patrons before they are seated that there may well be a delay in receiving your meals due to the fact that they are busy. This just comes down to proper training and coaching of staff. A big disappointed in all respects.

Went to Fratelli fresh with my girlfriend for the first time after being recommended by friends, ordering from the app isn’t great as it’s so easy to mix up what comes out first mains before starters etc, which was the case when we went. the reason I gave it 5 star was one of the workers there who literally went above and beyond sorting our order and giving us complimentary deserts but more so service with a smile just genuinely making our first time there worth it. The waiters name was Alisha and honestly if your lucky enough to be served by her she will make your visit there worth every penny, Thank you. Great Service and the food was amazing too.

Restaurant itself it well laid out with plenty of room. Ordering on the app meant all food came out at once, we probably should have navigated this better with several orders at different times to achieve an entree before mains service. Serving size was good however pizzas didn’t really have any flavour and the topping distribution was very poor for >$25 pizzas. No condiments were offered with meals or flatbread. Very small wine selection, largely consisting of “Fratelli Fresh” branded house wine. Won’t rush back based on price and taste of food.

I’ve been to Fratelli Fresh twice, once at Miranda which was pretty good then the one at Darling Harbour which is a completely different story. Firstly, we had a booking for 8:45 which we arrived 5 minutes late and the hostess had the worst customer service by rushing us to the table and telling us to order quickly as the kitchen was going to shut. After ordering really quickly the other waiters informed us the kitchen was still open for another 15 minutes. So the hostess made us rush for nothing. Secondly, I ordered the meatball pizza and when it arrived all it had was 4 extremely small pieces of meatballs on the pizza. It was pretty much just a cheese pizza with 4 meatball pieces which costed $27. When I informed the waitress about it all she did was just gave me a bowl of meatballs rather than taking it back and making me a new pizza. When we left the manager was extremely apologetic and gave us a discount that’s why I have given this a 2 star rather than a 1 star. We would never dine at another Fratelli Fresh after this experience.

This visit was a nighmare but previous time was great, thus more than one star. Booked 10 people for 3:15pm on a Friday for afterwork drinks and food. Waited for 10 minutes for them to set up the table in a nearly empty restaurant. Then 6 different staff told us our time was almost up starting 25 minutes before our 2 hour booking was over. We cheerfully said we'll be out by 5:15, but my co-workers/friends got more and more upset each time. Finally as they insisted we had to leave 5 minutes early, my colleague asked to speak to the manager. She said "I'm the manager" and had a big argument with one of our executives. The Fratelli manager was the only rude mean person, the rest were apologetic. The mgr said we had to leave early because she "cares about the customers who are waiting outside". She completely ruined our day, and maintained it's not their fault.

No one was checking if you checked in on COVID app. No staff was wearing mask. The ervice was very disappointing. It was Saturday dinner so I understood that they were busy, but orders were mixed up constantly, table service was bad by some staff members, one waitress was even upset and saying " sorry this is not my area" to people right next to us. They need to be organised. I would not go back.

last time we had a dinner and yes obviously i would like to share my experience that Souju was very friendly, patient and so hardworking. As she explain about the menu, i found the food recommended by her was so good. Would definitely recommend everyone to visit this place. Will be back again.

This was my first visit to "Fratelli Fresh" and I couldn't be more satisfied with the ambience and the staff that served my table. The food was good and I'd give 5 more stars to Santosh for "A-One" service with his polite and bright nature. Would love to visit again in future. ❤

Fratelli Fresh Darling Harbour is a MUST if you live in or are visiting Sydney. The atmosphere, food, service and drinks here are phenomenal - not to mention the central location of the restaurant with access to the ICC, Darling Harbour, Chinese Friendship Garden and the CBD. All our waitstaff were beyond attentive and kind, checking if we needed anything extra, offering to take photos, engaging with us in a way that felt we were friends of them all. Even the manager of the location, Benedikt, in the middle of what looked like an extremely busy dinner service, could be seen checking on numerous tables - ensuring everyone was having a great experience. He personally checked on our table and had a chat to us before heading back to run the lively venue. The food was delicious with an expansive, large kitchen and menu. And their dessert bar is to DIE FOR! It provides an interactive, engaging experience for everyone to finish their meal - and kids will love it! Their cocktail specials were amazing as well. Could not recommend more highly if you are after a great, relaxed dining experience. Will return soon!
