Incredible Service! Great Food! perfect night out for dinner! One of the best places to eat in Melbourne! :)
The food was ordinary, the omelette was bland, no trace of saganaki and the lamb sandwich was lacking in generosity for the $23 (plus 15% public holiday surcharge). I noticed three other patrons complaining in the short time we were there. It was certainly no feast, never again π
For once an eponymous eating place that lives up to it's name Great setting, very flexible serving staff and middle eastern inspired good done with their own very tasty spin on flavours. The vegetarians in our group in particular loved the food Highly recommended and we will be going back
The coffee is good! The smoked salmon salad is light but delicious. The main we had was the market fish, itβs nice but a little bit salty
Went there for dinner on a busy Friday evening with friends. The food is absolutely delicious. It is a banquet and we were too full by the time the dessert arrived. Everything from the bread to the hummus to the cauliflower to the tender lamb was yum. Even the broccoli was so good...I never thought I would say this about broccoli. There were so many other things like salmon, falafel, potatoes, carrots, gnocchi etc and they were all delicious. Dessert also had a lot of variety and was very good. Service was efficient. Really looking forward to going back there again.
Had an excellent meal on Sunday, post football match. It was a bit of a wait for a table to be ready, which was understandable given the thousands of people out on the street. The food was very fresh and tasty, and the service was excellent considering the place was overflowing and the staff were under the pump. Really enjoyed the chicken and lamb. Messina Gelato is over the road, so we skipped dessert. Look forward to returning next time i'm in Melbourne.
Dinner Main- ordered Turkish dumplings, came with only 5 pieces, more like entrΓ©e size than a main, overpriced for it's portion, dumpling skin texture similar to one of those Asian store bought dumpling wrappers, was a little disappointed. Dessert however was fantastic, very pretty and tasty with great portion size. (coconut panna cotta, Honey cake)
I had a blast with my friends here! We walk past this place almost every week without knowing about this hidden gem! Now that we have found and experience the rooftop bar, we will definitely come again! Service was great -We were promptly greeted with a friendly smile and taken upstairs! Coffees were delicious and I had the baked eggs which was lovely too! The weather was on point and the roof was open which brightened up the space instantly! Will come back to experience it at night :) Also has an outdoor area for your fur pup!
Delicious food in what feels like a jungle
Great food (although less variety of choices) with a nice chai latte coffee. Nice indoor environment & decoration too.
