Smashed pumpkin was devine.
Let's feasts
A decent, if unexciting restaurant, with fine dining prices. My partner and I went for what intended to be a special dinner. The service was excellent (other than being recommended a wine that wasn't a good match) but we ordered the feed me banquet and were fairly disappointed. The roast pumpkin main was delicious, but tiny for the menu price, and two of the sides we left largely untouched, as we found them bland or unpalatable. The creme caramel for dessert was a highlight, and the majority of the food was tasty, but I couldn't recommend Feast of Merit over nearby restaurants that are half the price per person.
Good food and variety of drink. Good spot to take family and friends
A very underwhelming brunch experience. The breakfast menu has a short list of options which all sounded well portioned and delicious so we were excited (and hungry!) Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food, and when our plates finally arrived we were pretty disappointed that the portions were small, and some dishes were missing key ingredients. The staff basically ignored us the whole time, and we had to ask over four times for water (as a table of six). The venue is beautiful, but as a brunch destination I would give it a miss. I hope the dinner experience is better!
Great venue. Foodwise, not as described on social media. Short brunch menu, not much to choose from.
We had a great night at Feast of Merit. We needed Gluten Free options and there were plenty to choose from. The feed me menu was great value and absolutely delicious.
Did a 40th birthday party at their rooftop bar and ordered seated package menu (reasonable price and tasty), it was really good and have the venue for ourselves for couple of hours. They let us decorate it before the party start as well.
Great if you your poached eggs rock solid!! Average, no care service!! All about the money. Give this place a miss. Yes. I informed the staff and was told that hard cooked yokes was your standard cooking preference, as "most people don't like yokes runny" Sounded like a complete brush off!! Manager didn't even thank us for our patronage at payment. Too busy on the phone while taking payment. You should try and serve one customer at a time & treat them with some element of personal service.!
Edited by user 18/04/21 My initial review was not fair & reasonable to this venue. Understandably they donβt offer hollandaise sauce as this cafe is indeed middle eastern inspired something I should have checked prior. Overall atmosphere is fantastic, warm & welcoming.
