This is a gem of a restaurant in the Hunter Valley. What an amazing experience !Excellent night spent at this fabulous boutique restaurant. Fabulous dinner experience and with lovely matching wines. I’ve been to many good restaurants but this was by far a standout. Service was sensational. An absolute must to dine at.

I have been here with my partner many times over the past 5 years and the service and food is always amazing! It is one of those fine dining places where you actually leave full and wowed by the flavours and progression in the degustation. It is a simple addition but we have always love the cultured butter, which I think has made an appearance at most dinings. The attention to detail by the staff and chef makes a reservation at this restaurant a stand out experience - I cannot recommend coming here enough for an intimate dinner or celebration, or if you just love great food :)

What an amazing dining experience! The food was exquisite; perfectly executed, thoughtful, and most importantly, delicious. My husband is a very fussy eater and was nervous about the tasting menu, but genuinely loved the experience and enjoyed the dishes. The service was impeccable, with staff being attentive and knowledgeable without being invasive of our space. I highly recommend sitting at the chefs table, getting the wine pairing, and adding on the cheese course. We have been raving to anyone who listens about how much we enjoyed dining at EXP and are making plans with friends and family to come back again and again and again.

EXP is now my fav restaurant. Had a delightful night of culinary indulgence. The set menu is perfectly thought out and balanced. The staff are very well informed and Chef Frank keeps it all together with utter professionalism and passion. My taste buds are still dancing ... Will return!! 👋👋👋👋

Incredibly attentive service and excellent food. The cavatelli and trout courses were a highlight. At $110 per head, you won't find a better dining experience this close to Sydney!

Hard to fault a place that has excellent service upon booking, arrival and the entire dining experience. The food is creative, contemporary, at times experimental, interesting in flavor and delicious as well. Whilst not a hatted restaurant, it satisfies on all fronts. Something out of Masterchef at times. The staff and chef are young and ambitious. The atmosphere is wonderful. Overall very happy with the experience at EXP. Would recommend and go again.

Amazing dinner to celebrate a 10 year anniversary. All the food was delicious; we're still debating on which course was the best! Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Definitely didn't come out hungry. Worthwhile experience!

EXP Restaurant in the Hunter Valley on the Broke Rd. This is a modem Australian Restaurant with a great menu for all tastes. I would recommend the chefs experience tasting. This menu has a great variety of small servers with a variety of tastes. Then at the end of night the chef offers you his home made Australia favors ice cream. The bar is well stocked with quality wine & beer. The staff are friendly and have a good knowledge of the menu and explain every dish in detail. Well worth the visit if you in the region.

The food was delicious and definitely not run of the mill. I’d recommend a seat at the bar so you can watch the chefs in action. Great atmosphere, fabulous service. Thanks foe a great experience
