Davey road 7000, Hobart
We ordered the chowder, admiral fish pot, and mixed grill. The food was decent (photo attached) although the mixed grill arrived about 10 minutes later than expected. The staff were as accomodating as they could be, and tried their best to improve a really bad experience. In short, we were treated EXTREMELY UNFAIRLY by the manager who not only gave our table away (forcing us into a smaller one when there were 5 of us), but was extremely rude to us for no apparent reason. We felt this was unjustified and would not wish this unfair treatment upon anyone else.. Without the manager issue I probably would have given this place 4 stars.
Deep fried food may as well go to fish and chip shop for price. Meals average no seafood in chowder, 40 buck wine, cold platter had salty prawns, octopus mix not fresh, only good thing was cured salmon on toast but not worth price. Yachty meal not much seafood for price and served with soggy chips. Wouldn't rate after being really keen to visit. Super surprised booked out! Wouldn't recommend.
Atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. Service was excellent and staff very knowledgeable and courteous. Food and wine exceptional!
Great food, amazing decor! Have been here a few times now and haven't been disappointed.
Good service and great display of nautical bits and pieces. Don't go for the food. Over priced and pretty disappointing. So many better places to eat in Hobart.

Had the oysters Cadiz and yachties skewers, both were delicious. Oysters were fresh and flavors on point! Staff is friendly and attentive.
We enjoyed our meal service was good and the food was great. I do agree with the comments on the chips and the salad they definitely need changing. This is a seafood restaurant not a local fish shop you get what you pay for.
