Customer service was poor in my opinion. The desserts I tried were the mango sticky rice and the coconut ice cream with sticky rice. The mango wasn’t that sweet and was a bit sour. The coconut ice cream was nice but pretty sweet. The sticky rice did not taste flavoured.

Won’t come again. First, the waitress asked if we’ve booked when obviously there were plenty of empty tables. Then I asked her if we need to book to dine and she said no. She looked so impatient when we wanted to order. If your waitress was so busy chatting to her friend and unwilling to serve, why accept walk-in customers? She looked so angry when we simply asked for tissues. We came here for a few years already. Never got treated so bad, won’t come again. Next door Vietnamese restaurant, An Viet has much better service than you. We don’t come to get serve like this.

If you can get past the generally unsmiling staff, this is a nice place for authentic Bangkok street food. Loved the small soups. The sewed pork and pork neck skewers take me back to the food courts of that famed city.

The service was so bad, it turned my lovely Friday dinner into a disaster. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the waiter ignored me and my boyfriend. In the very cold winter night, I asked to turn on the heater for three times, but only promised me will open it without taking action. Moreover, they opened the window widely, my food was cold in the middle of the meal, and eating the cold food made me have a stomachache. Never come again.

I have been to other dodee restaurants a few times. They always have authentic and nice Thai dishes. We ordered the king size noodle, but it wasn't a large portion size for sharing. Probably better to pay slightly extra to order two jumbo dishes. The taste was superb. Flavourful and authentic. Highly recommend the fresh thin rice noodle. Love the desserts. Minus one star for the appalling customer service. The waiters were quite rude. Pretty bad attitude. There are seats in the restaurant and sheltered outdoor dining space. Should be easy to find seats.

The noodle soup was awesome, must have whenever you are in dodee. The table food that we had were delicious, but not quite there, e.g. crispy pork meant to be crispy - not soggy.

First time visiting this restaurant and it was outstanding. Food reminded me of the food I had when I went to Thailand. Good value for money and really tasty food. Staff were very helpful with ordering and letting us know what to try. 5 stars!!

I’ve been to all the Dodee Paidang locations (including Melbourne!) and this is one of the best. Tom yum noodle is great but a surprise is how good the pad Thai is. It’s probably the best I’ve had in Sydney. I also appreciate gluten free items being marked on the menu! 🙏🏼

Food is good it’s hard to see past the bad service and rude waitstaff. Not directed at us, but the waitress / cashier was terribly rude and dismissive to an elderly lady customer.

DoDee Paidang special noodle recipe was invented by Jiraporn Anukoonpajit in around 30 years ago and has since opened branches in almost every other province around the country. After falling in love with the taste of the delicious spicy noodles on a return trip to Thailand we brought the franchise and opened stores in Sydney (Bondi, Cabramatta, CBD), Melbourne and now in Chatswood.
