Continental Cafe

Had a beautiful meal here - really friendly staff and cute Cafe. The orange and almond cake with pistachio ice cream was a real winner.

Went there for breakfast. I had pancake 🥞 Foods was different! I would go there for a dinner rather than break fast. Lovely staff and good service

We lived in temporary accommodation nearby. Our black Labrador would always stop as he passed. A good sign. Went twice, fish of the day was outstanding. The bangers and mash was superb especially the sauce. Second time risotto was excellent. The steak was well cooked, but served only with French fries and no vegetables - this was a disappointment. Staff are excellent.

There was no salt IE the salt container was empty and when I requested salt the waitress did not acknowledge my request eventually 19 minutes later she placed the salt on the table said nothing. No apology just put it on the table and walked away this sort of incompetent service is very bad and does the restaurant and its reputation an injustice

Brisbane needs more places like this. The food is well and truly up there with any excellent restaurant in Melboune... not sure if I can give a higher accolade! Not fine dining decor but is cosy, and nice staff.

We had a Beefsteak and Burgundy meeting at CC. The food was magnificent without being over the top. The cream brulee was the best I have tasted, unctuous and creamy. The Beefsteak was divine and didn't need a knife. A place I recommend without reservation.

Very unassuming, but fabulous. Been regulars for 15+ years. Having the same meals almost every time - Bruschetta/ Spaghetti Prawns. When something is that good, there's just no reason to change! Excellent service too.

We spotted this little gem when out for a walk and it looked so good we had to try it, even the booking was a pleasure as the owner was so friendly - having been there now I can honestly say it was utterly delicious in every way!! Will definitely be going back and would recommend it to everyone!!

Constantly spectacular. There is no better place in Brisbane for a intimate, comfortable and warm atmosphere. Great for intimate bits but also festive and joyful for big gatherings. The menu delights and there isn’t a bad dish. The desserts are the most incredible on a list of already spectacular features. I often come for dessert alone. You won’t regret a visit to the Continental Cafe.
