Consistently fantastic service is a standout. Lovely crepes and very cheap prices.

What about buying a slicing machine? I think this business has been making enough money now, so providing sliced bread would be appreciated... it would save me time in the kitchen ;-) ... and plain walnut bread would be appreciated.

Great service, great view and prices that are very reasonable - particularly the wine! Really enjoyed this place.

Among a growing contingent of French fare in Brisbane (Belle Epoque, Le Classic, La Provence, Montrachet, Piaf...) what is so special about this place that it has to be opened by Anna Bligh? (see gold plaque on front door). As with the other restaurants, noticeably Belle Epoque and Montrachet, the price is sky high. You need to book ahead at least a week to get in the door. The space is boutique (read: narrow) but very cosy and romantic. The menu was interesting. Having been at Armstrong's Seasalt the previous week, my dining partner praised the fact that there was more than 50 grams of meat on his plate. We spent $140 on 2 entrees and 2 mains and a couple of non alcohol drinks. Overall, it was good for a visit, but I was more sufficiently wowed by Montrachet.

Lovely place for a cuppa and a slice of cake. Shame about it being at a busy intersection..

Arlette's Kitchen is my new "local" - walking distance from home - and it delivers in Spades all the hallmarks of a genuine little French "bistrot", a warm welcome upon arrival; simple, delicious food prepared with care using the freshest in season ingredients and a great place to meet friends on a Saturday night or meeting up with girlfriends for the two-course (including a glass of wine) set price lunch special on Fridays... perfect!

Good food comes out of this small kitchen! Not to expensive either - No breakfasts over $16 (without extras). V cute and would recommend to locals!
Is it is fine French dining you are after then this is your place. Just don't forget to top up the debt card before you go.
