La Dolce Vita is just about always open, and service is always friendly, if a bit rushed during busy times. The menu is short, and expensive (the norm for Park Rd). The food is fairly reliably tasty, and the coffee is decent (though you should visit Bunker Coffee down the road instead, if they're open).

Gerbinos is a regular drop-in spot for my husband and self -- they do good coffee and we enjoy the fresh lunch selections. Staff very cheerful and obliging even when terribly busy. Unfortunately everyone else has discovered Gerbinos but we can usually get a table to enjoy a snack. Love their canolli - cakes amazing in the second room. Their icecream is proper Italian icecream as well.

Been to better, been to worse... Food was ok and arrived quickly, service fine apart from minor error on the order, reasonably priced for breakfast. Location is great next to Bulimba ferry stop which is probably the easiest way to get to it.
