Continental Cafe

Quaint little restaurant in New Farm. Large serving sizes, wonderful service and great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced for the area also. We had the bouef bourguignon, eye fillet, seafood risotto and prawn spaghetti. All were delicious and would recommend them all. Shared the decadent crème brûlée for dessert. The wine list is extremely well priced and features mostly Australian wines with a few French wines dispersed throughout. Highly recommend.

Wow! This cafe flies under the radar when it comes to delicious meals. Today enjoyed sand crab croquettes followed by braised beef cheek with Paris mash. Unbelievably great tasting and presented food.

Feels very cosy, most hospitable staff members, great quality meals and very delicious, great beverage quality. We have funds memories of being there. We highly recommend and continue to remain a frequent flyer over there.

I haven't been to the resturant for years as I have returned bk to Brisbane. The service and Food where excellent. Well priced and good quantity. Will be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

This place has some of the best food I have tasted.For our entres we had Scallop and ginger dumplings and warm bruschetta of seasonal tomatoes . For our mains we had pan seared lambs fry and pink ling fish . For our desserts we had apple tarte tatin,sticky date pudding and creme brulee. Everything was absolutely amazing and very very tasty. We also had a fantastic bottle of red wine and a Venezuelan rum which was sensational.

Enjoyed a dinner with 11 of us in the private room. We had a four course dinner. Service and food was fantastic. 5 stars and we’ll come back - thank you Beau + Dayna for looking after us.
