Clocktower Cafe

This is the best cafe I have ever been to. I come at least once/twice a day for a coffee. The queen herself Mariam makes the best oat latte

Nice place, we were lucky to grab the last table when we attended for breakfast on a Saturday. Service was friendly, and food was delivered pretty quickly. Haven’t given 5 stars just because when asked what the muffin was I was told lemon, but after purchasing it turned out to be ginger. Otherwise food was really tasty, and the hash was great.

Cafe has been in steady decline for some time, coffee is now similar in taste to dish water. Absolutely avoid at all costs.

Great food ruined by poor service, surly and impatient staff who make you feel like you're an inconvenience, and cant wait to kick patrons out and shut the place, creating a really unwelcoming atmosphere, a far cry from a year ago when I came here quite often and gave it 5 stars. A real shame! Looks like the owners don't take legit reviews seriously either!

The coffee is great, I love the variety and the staff are always friendly. I would recommend Clocktower Cafe to anyone who is looking for a good cup of coffee.

Great place for breakfast. Inside is big with plenty of seats and sofa area. The frying pan veggie breakfast is so good.

Really like this place and lots of others do too. Good buzz, may have to wait for your coffee.

Nicely presented place with a lovely ambiance. Great to linger and enjoy your food. Staff is helpful and accommodating. Food was good and portions erring toward nearly over-generous.

I ordered for 2 cups of Latte to take out, whilst I was having work done on my car at this garage nearby. I returned back a couple of minutes later. The girl in glasses, working at the coffee machine then said to me 'Sir I gave you your two lattes earlier'. I humbly and politely asked her colleague, the second girl if by any chance possible do they have a small piece of tin foil that I may please have. (Needed small bit of tin foil, just for a small life hacking job on my car). The second girl politely informed me sorry, they don't use tin foil. This girl then butted in abruptly, 'No, we haven't got tin foil, we are very busy!' She made me feel unwelcome, as soon as she had first said 'Sir I gave you your 2 lattes' and then when she said afterwards 'we are very busy!' I felt that she was judging me by my appearance.

Really nice, comfortable friendly place. But a terrible muddle - brought the wrong order, and then tried to charge twice. Food when we got it was delicious, but need to train staff a bit better!
