Wallington Hall Gardens NaN, Morpeth
Really nice
Nice cafe.
I've been here a bunch of times, the food has varied from good to well below average. I think when it's busy it's just best avoided in terms of quality and service. Last time I had coffee and the salt-beef bagel. The coffee turned up after the food (they forgot) and the bagel was without any side and cost £7!! But they do have high-chairs and baby changing so I'll keep coming back until the rest of Hanwell catches up (or W7 Emporium is open). But I will say, the brownie is very good. Edit: to be clear, I don't think any of the menu items are fundamentally bad (except maybe the veggie wrap; and the chorizo breakfast thing is a bit greasy for me). However, they've previously been cold, missed items, and been slow. It's probably more a reflection on the inconsistent service. Equally, sometimes it's all great and hence four stars. It's still head and shoulders above most other places.
Coffee was great - probably the best in the area. Staff could be friendlier though.
Very good food
Every single time I’ve been in here, the food and drinks have been fabulous. But above that, the service has been wonderful. Each and every person who works here takes the time to get to know you, is kind and generous, and fabulous at their job. Maryan especially is a delight. She’s quick, kind, and an absolute sweetheart. Enthusiastically recommend!!
A bit small, but overall a nice place.
It is a café restaurant for English meals and great clientele plus the respect of the staff not to regret making a visit to admire the place
Very good atmosphere, delicious yeast cake, good coffee.
