We have been coming to China Doll for many years and they never disappoint. The service is always attentive and speedy without being over bearing. The food is always fabulous - highly recommend the banquet menu. We love the banquet for two, which always leave us feeling very full. Well done to the China Doll team.

Every dish is packed with flavour. Every worker exudes great service and the cocktails are delicious. They have finished renovations on the pier and so you have beautiful Sydney skyline as a backdrop whilst you dine. They also offer half portions of their dishes if you think the full dish is too much. All in all, China Doll can not be faulted.

This is one of our favourite places to eat in Sydney, we go for my husband and my birthday every year without fail, and whenever we can in-between. Always fabulous flavoursome food, great service and wonderful ambience! Always look forward to going back!

If my wife and I ever venture back to this restaurant, it will be for the food only, which is great. We chose a $72pp banquet, but after drinks, that amount climbed to $132 each. ($264)Definitely not a casual night out and next time we may just skip the wine.

China Doll was a lovely restaurant and the food was beautiful. All the dishes were beautiful, but the shu mai and prawn toast was not much to my liking. My favourite dishes were the truffle wagyu rice paper rolls and the salmon sashimi, both had amazing flavours. The service was not great for a nice restaurant, waiters always had to be flagged down for everything (even basics eg ordering drinks, ordering entrees) which was slightly disappointing as it seemed for a busy Saturday lunch they were understaffed. However the quality of the food and drinks definitely made up for it. The location is wonderful and definitely has a beautiful outdoor seating area on the water. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

First time dinning here and had a great experience. The staff members were very friendly and attentive. Loved their cocktails and food was great. Duck was a bit on the bland side but their salmon sashimi was a clear winner by far.
