Absolutely amazing Thai fusion - every single dish was so tasty and flavour packed. A big call out to the wagyu beef pad see ew. The rice noodles were especially delicious! The cocktails were also great and the atmosphere of the place made you feel relaxed and in a bar-like setting. Will definitely be back in the future!

We went to Chin Chin for dinner today and tried the Chefs Banquet worth $88 pp and it was just out of the world. The banquet options are so well planned and every dish had a unique taste which made us want to try the next one. The portion sizes were very good too. There were 8 items listed in the Chefs Banquet and we were almost full by the time we finished eating our 5th. The desert at the end was very unique and worth trying. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone who loves food and wants a nice upmarket dining experience. Thanks to our host Ruby who took good care of us and paced out things for us to make for a memorable evening.

Super fancy twist on Modern Asian food and flavours pop in your mouth like a rainbow. Worth trying the set menu to experience true Asia.

Take the time to read the reviews and decide on whether or not this is the place for you. We walked into ChinChin on a Saturday for lunch and we’re seated straight away. The place is buzzing with energy and the music is blasted so be prepared to yell at one another from across the table. People dress up to go here and we were definitely underdressed in sneakers and jeans. The menu is extensive and we ordered a couple of dishes to share. The mains were great but the chicken wings, following the trend of other reviews, were dry and chewy. Service is attentive , an overall nice lunch but in no race to come back.

Had a really beautiful birthday lunch for a family member here. Great variety of vegan options, incredibly friendly staff and nice decor. A real winner!

I always enjoy the food here, everything taste well balanced and delicious! This time around we found the music super loud, we could not hear each other, we were screaming ontop of each other. They managed to turn down the music which was good. We found that the staggered dishes to come out was very very staggered. Missed out on dessert because we had another place to be which was very disappointing. We were very excited to try the Vietnamese coffee panda cotta πŸ₯Ί

Not recommended for big groups with vegetarian and vegan friends. Chin Chin is a well known restaurant and our expectations were pretty high. So we booked a table for a big group (+10) of friends for a Friday dinner party. Unfortunately, we were seated at two different tables with round corners put together - making really difficult to have a comfortable conversation between all of us. The place was noisy, people chatting and loud music didn't help either. Because we were a large group we were forced to pick from one of the banquet options. Ordering from the menu wasn't permitted for us. A few of us wanted vegetarian meals so the restaurant had to adapt the banquet, the selection was limited and the vegetarian dishes served were a bit poor based on tofu or eggplant. The rest of the menu, though, was tasty and generous! Other than that, the service was excellent! The staff really attentive and flexible to make the banquet half vegetarian. We are sure that if they improve the vegetarian options and the group experience, Chin Chin will be much better!

Waited 3 years and hopefully post crowd madness to visit Chin Chin. But wet night in Sydney and 3 years old, the queues still stretched down the street. From the minute we entered attentive staff were at our beck and call. Following recommendation from friends we selected the $69 set menu of tastings of the Best of Chin Chin. Food was delicious and every dish more tantalising than the previous. Service was efficient and friendly and our waitress Sara was outstanding. Chelsea and Darcy at the front desk who farewelled us were also highlights of an enjoyable Sydney evening. We will return.

Description

A quintessentially Australian take on Asian food, the trademark Chin Chin taste is a carefully blended mix of freshness, spice, heat, exotic herbs and an obsessive need to perfectly balance all of these elements. Chin Chin lives by the philosophy that eating and drinking should be fun and relaxing much like our way of life.
