Billy's Burgers and Bar

Couldn’t fault this place. Really good burgers for a start. Friendly staff, delicious sides, a great menu for kids and all the food tasted fresh and handmade. We will definitely make this a regular family visit.

Food was great, a tad smaller than I expected but delicious. The young girls behind the counter weren't very vigilant, it was a windy afternoon and the rubbish from the four tables uncleared outside was blowing into the water. There are facilities for clearing, returning your own tray and id suggest making it better known that these facilities are there.

As far as burgers go, this is the best I've had in a long time. Fresh ingredients, not greasy or salty at all and sauces bang on. Better than any I've had in Melbourne. Lots of great local beer available too. It makes me sad I don't live in Hobart.

Exceptional. As a massive burger guy I can say the Double Billy Burger was perfect: big enough, juicy enough, filling and worth it. No side of fries needed, though I did get a Chocolate shake to go. Billy's Burgers redeemed the 'locally sourced, produced' label that Tassie is known for as I've had some shocking burgers from all around Tassie. I may have to call back in on my way north of Dark Mofo isn't too crazy! Easily in my Top 3 Burgers. You need to make up a few stickers, or simple merchandise. The napkin won't last as a keepsake!

Heard the hype of Billy's Burgers, went to try for myself. Service was great, burger was delicious. Pulled pork fries rather average for the price you pay for them, serving size of chips was pretty poor but the coleslaw was plentiful. IMO the pulled pork fries are no where near worth the price or size of competitors. 🤷

First time visitors and we were blown away by the friendly service, tasty food and great atmosphere 👌🏻 We will be back for sure 😉

No one wants a burger that is mostly bread. The young waiter who was very nice was the only positive point.

$20 for a small burger and chips. Burger had so much sauce that i couldnt taste anything else, chips were cold, 25 minute wait and unhappy staff. So much room for improvement. The texture of the burger was nice, just couldnt taste it

I never go to burger places with high expectations, I've always thought something could be better... But this place was on point! Had the classic deluxe with sweet potato fries, and honestly I'll have it again. Price was reasonable, food was excellent, meal was filling but not too much so. Would recommend to a friend, will be back...
