Big Rocking Horse

Great for the kids. Good Picnic day for sure.

Was lovely to wonder around the animal park. $2.00 worth spent

Myself and my two kids had a wonderful day at the Big Rocking Horse. Great food at a fair price. Climbing the rocking horse was great experience and feeding the animals was an enjoyable plus all at a reasonable price.

Great place for the entire family Plenty of Birds and animals to see and walk around with in a beautiful nature setting. The toy factory selling wooden toys made on the site along with souvenirs and then there's the wooden horse itself where you can climb to the top of it.

Great place for a little adventure. !! Most friendly staff and a big shout out to the staff in the kiosk and to the lady there that makes the most amazing scrumptious iced chocolate and coffee ( best in Adelaide)!!! I'm a carer and I bring a client there often just for the wonderful way we are treated ...such a welcoming and place to relax .

You can feed animals like ducks kangaroos alpaca's ect most eat right out of your hand. If your game you can climb to the very top of the rocking horse

Climbing the rocking horse is 2 dollars and the entry to see the animals costs the same, quite reasonable. I can see the effort going into keeping up the animal park. Unfortunately the free roaming goats clear any green shoots which makes the place seem run down. The picnic areas are well maintained, one paved and one on the lawn, with some seating in shade. I always like to browse in the toy shop.

Loved taking the Grandkids here. They enjoyed feeding the animals. Its a good, well priced place to take a picnic and have enjoyable family day out. The selection of toys in the shop is incredible.

A fantastic mix of an iconic icon, a wildlife park, a cafe and a toy shop, this place has everything you need for an afternoon out. There are amenities available and a kid friendly park to leave the kids while you have lunch The wildlife park has a ton of animals to hand feed, llamas, ducks, emus, sheep, goats, cockatoos in cages who know more English than a 1 year old and kangaroos You can climb the rocking horse all the way to the top with ease, but it’s not the the ones scared of ladders (tilted) All in all would recommend/10

They make a decent coffee and have some lovely toys in the factory. The big ole horse is cool, but someone should hook it up to a big engine and make it rock lol
