Bear With Me

The service was good and it’s a nice atmosphere. If you’re after a traditional bacon and egg breakfast, this is not your cafe. Eggs and toast were nice, but the bacon was sliced really thick and the potato hash was a crumbed fried rectangle of potato. I also thought it was overpriced.

Grabbed some take away coffee and a breakfast brioche bun to go and it was unreal!

Really nice cafe. Good food and attentive service. Nice and warm to get out of the cold weather. Went here after dropping into a gym and the food, coffee and kombucha was just what I needed. Loved the sticky pork and salad!

Bear with Me is one of those cafes that make living in Hobart so good. Away from the tourist trade and full of locals, BwM delivers great food and a relaxed modern atmosphere. The food and coffee is great and they offer an Asian themed menu for lunch. Great service and reasonable prices.

I met an old friend for lunch and we were at first tempted by the delicious sounding toasties and baguettes until we realized there were Korean rice bowls on offer. And halloumi fries!! We had such a wonderful feast.The halloumi fries, drenched in honey, were wonderful, and the rice bowls, topped with spicy fried chicken, were a taste sensation. Great service, a pleasant atmosphere, lovely food!
