Firstly, the service is pathetic and they do not have the foods listed in the menu.

Asked to be seated at empty table, waiter rudely asked us to wait 10 mins outside. Food had a lot of red colour in it, and had heaps of oil on top. Used to come here everyday when i was at university, came here to refresh memories today. Now its a no no from ever again. Very disappointed. Left the food without finishing.

Been here many times as well as taste of taj. This place is very good in food quality and it has been consistent. Only real negative i have is store needs some decorations and colour. It is very dull

Food is always so awesome. However I strongly think they should improve on the service and do some refurbishment. There tables so sticky even after clean, time to change.

Very poor customer service. My friend and I went in to the Dhaba and were met with a very unfriendly waitress who did not even bother paying any attention to us. My friend was extremely courteous and yet was only reciprocated with sign language... literally not a single word was spoken to him the entire time. Interestingly the table next to us was attended to with clear communication. Doesn't look like customer service is a prerequisite for the job. Also they have a weird payment policy. No contact less payment in today's COVID wary world followed by no credit cards and only bank cards. Has to be the weirdest policy I have seen in any eatery in Melbourne.

After a long trip, relaxing dine in is what comes in mind. We visited on 28/12/2020 which was Public holiday, according to that it was only Indian restaurant we saw open. It's was super busy with wait time 20 min. And then food wait time 30-40 min Yes the food wait time was more than 30min. Nice strategy of giving papad and salad, but man people will leave after 30 min. As said due to holiday could be reason, but if they are open, should think of management. Manager wasn't there at counter, staff had their own arguments, as one of them was awesome, n the other wasn't doing her best. Better be ready with manager, staff, should say experienced staff at such times. They were more focused on online delivery then dine in orders. Food:1/5 ; Service by one lady:3/5, other lady 0/5 Wait time: -10. Ambiance:0/5. Hygiene:0/5 Not sure if will visit again.

Delicious n authentic food. Better than other options available around.

I am here after bad customer service. May be other things are good here. The waiter don’t know how to deal with the customers. Hoping for good service next time. Thanks.

Soft deep fried chaant bread with chick peas, very satisfying
