I wasn't sure what to make of Hummus Club -- a restaurant started via Indiegogo? -- but am so glad we came here. The food is excellent; even the mushroom hummus, which I thought a bit low on flavour, was still high quality and well presented. The staff clearly care about the story behind each dish and gave us very attentive service. As an added bonus, it was Pride weekend and I loved sitting outside with a drink, watching the parade :-)

As regulars of Andiamo Italian Restaurant in Rockingham we were sad to hear that they were moving to a new venue in Royal St, East Perth called Gioia on the River. Today we went for lunch and we were so glad we did. We were delighted to see that most of our old favourites are on the menu at Gioia. Andrea, the ultimate restaurant host, was very happy to see our familiar faces and he's justifiably proud of his new venture. The food is great but the view across the water is gorgeous and as there is no wind it's very pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the comings and goings on the river. Next time we'll go by train and Cat Bus so we can enjoy a few drinks.

This newly established restaurant has a great mix of old and new. The family history really shows as there is delicious traditional Italian food along with very friendly and helpful staff who definitely know what their talking about. This makes for a wonderful experience. La Fattoria is also very kid friendly with a dedicated "bambino" three course meal. Other great features include wheelchair access, indoor and outdoor seating with fans and misters, fresh fruit for sale and easy parking, making this a place I would most definitely recommend to others.

I loved my zucchini fritters and my coffee. I had no room for the pancakes so will have to return very soon. Lovely, friendly service in this beautifully decorated cafe.
