Had a lunch catch up with friends on a rainy Tuesday. Found this new open Japanese restaurant, and their food is Amazing! The chef is Japanese (we sat next to the kitchen and I heard they talking in Japanese) The Veggie Hotpot is perfect for a cold temperature. To my surprise they can make a veggie hotpot so tasteful, which I could never do at home. Seafood Udon Lunch set, such a balance. Couldn’t resist some Cheese cake even at lunch and the tea highlights the taste, but forgot to ask them what the tea was. Btw their service is good too, they always pay attention to the guests. Glad we chose this restaurant and highly recommended!

After it took 10 minutes to get my order I was fuming, then to my suprise I check over my order and the man had forgotten my potato and gravy. I started yelling at the lady working cause I was disappointed and irretated. The African girl working was very sweet and apologetic, she fixed up my meal with a smile although I was yelling and apologize. If it wasn't for her I would have never come back here.

We went here on a Saturday night and they had only been open three days. For entree we had chicken satay, the balance of chilli and peanut sauce was spot on and the chicken was lovely and moist. For Main we had red duck curry with all sorts of interesting things like pineapple and grapes, chicken pad krapoi - a stir fry dish with a colorful array of vegies, and beef salad. All dishes had an excellent balance of chilli and sweet and all meat was cooked to perfection. There was a dipping sauce with chilli if you wished to add. Most tables had people on them. The service needs to lift it was pleasant but patchy, small things like not pouring my husbands beer when they had time, and not offering me a glass of wine with the main dishes. Despite this we will be going back as we live near and I love Thai food. Plenty of Gluten free options as well.

Hidden away across from the police station, it's a bit difficult to find. It's nothing special but I had a good time. Decent drink deals and a lively bunch of patrons.

Hot lips Hacienda is a reasonable addition to a transitioning retail strip. Service was good, food was tasty albeit fairly small portions and a decent atmosphere albeit we were seated outside on a cool May evening because indoors couldn't cater for 10 people apparently? Overall it was OK. As a last point what is the 2 staff standing out front doing SFA all evening? That is wierd. Fix.

Novel hotspot style dining where everyone gets their own little pots. Food is wonderfully presented and tasty. It is generally very busy, leading to some wait times and sometimes flustered staff.

We've ordered from here a few times through eatnow and its been a good experience so far. Food is consistent and tasty with some favourites being red curry and the noodle dishes. Delivery times can be anywhere from 15-60 minutes.. Obviously deoendnant on busyness :) L

I had heard stories of poncey meals consisting of dispiriting little deconstructed heaps of quinoa, pomegranate and the like, so imagine my delight when I bit into the "Carlton Fried Chicken" burger: a copiously battered free-range chicken thigh, chilli, BBQ sauce, coleslaw, mayonnaise and a slice of real cheddar all in a big brioche bun with some nice cabbage salad on the side. Like the illegitimate lovechild of a KFC Zinger and a Michelin Star, this is definitely the best chicken burger I've ever had. The coffee's as good as everybody says it is, and the service is "friendly hipster" rather than "grumpy hipster". I'll be back.
First time visitor to Abla's and loved it. Traditional home style Lebanese food prepared to perfection. If you prefer your food to be well plated and look like art, you'd be disappointed. As for me, I want my food to taste excellent and Abla's was perfection. My wife, being a vegan, had an amazing amount of dishes to chose from - which is a real treat. Friendly and helpful staff and had the pleasure of having a chat with Abla herself. Two things you need to do: 1. Get the baklava - words cannot describe how good this was. 2. Buy the cookbook and replicate the delish dishes in the comfort of your own home. Highly recommended.
