Arcadia Hotel

2 Toorak Rd 3141, Melbourne

Great place for watching the game or playing pool. Free pool Sundays are awesome and the kitchen puts out quality food

Schmucks Bagels
4.7
/ 262

Little Bourke St & Guests Ln, Melbourne

It was ok - had standard breakfast bagel - not sure what the hype was all about - it was nice but didn't rock my world - that said would try a few other variations. Bagels were light and fluffy - I'll grant you that.

I come here regularly once or twice a week. Food is always great as well as service.

Aangan restaurant has opened with a bang! They have consistently maintained the quality of service and amazing food. THE place to go if you like Indian cuisine.

Trinket

87 Flinders Lane 3000, Melbourne

First the good stuff: Great location, nice interior, staff seemed okay, food was very nice, and worth a little extra, but the pricing is just a little too high to make me return. What entirely spoiled it, was that we eat on Easter Saturday and were charged a ridiculous surcharge due to this. Over $110 (for nothing really) just because it was the holiday. All in pretty dumb ass of them as they got zero tip and I'm telling others to avoid the place because of this silly pricing policy. By all means have a special menu with higher prices for holiday periods but adding an extra charge visibly on top of GST and thinking customers will be happy, or want to tip is dumber than dumb. It sadly ruined the night for me as buying two drinks and being charged three dollars, and 1 minute later asking the same barman for another two drinks for people who just arrived, and being charged three dollars surcharge again? This on top of a $10 bottle of beer? Get bent!-Won't be back. I appreciate running a business, I know what its like, but a real shame, as I enjoyed my meal and the company thoroughly. I doubt the management give a damn though, as the place is small enough and food nice enough to keep fresh clientèle rolling in, so more power to them if they can get muppets like me to pay silly surcharges.

TGI Fridays

313 Melbourne Central Melbourne Central Shopping Centre 3000, Melbourne

Needed to chill out post exam. Great comfy chairs, alcohol and variety of food.

Squires Loft Docklands
4.3
/ 340

818 Bourke St 3008, Melbourne

Went here with my dad and brother, both who are extremely critical of steak. While unsure about the other reviews, we had a fantastic experience. Our meals were simply amazing and the service was good. Nothing to complain about at all. There was a really warm atmosphere and it felt very friendly and comfortable. We will be going back!

Touché Hombre
4.0
/ 421

233 Lonsdale St 3000, Melbourne

Had lunch with a group from work. Serving sizes very small, costly and no coffees or tea served. Maybe dinner or drinks is better. Not for lunch...

Ned's Bake
3.9
/ 453

134 Toorak Rd South Yarra 3141, Melbourne

Sampled some of Ned's patisserie and fresh baked ciabatta. Amazing!!! Can't wait for the kitchen to open to give it a try. Love the fitout too.

82 Village Street Docklands NaN, Melbourne

Only one vegetarian dish on the Mains - roasted beetroot. This was not roasted but a cold, small pickled beetroot cut into sections and mixed with a large bowl of baby spinach to which was added a couple of walnuts and a sprinkling of crumbled fetta and dukkah. This was a poor result for $22. My fellow diners were pleased with their meat meals. Not recommended for vegetarians or vegans. The service was excellent and polite.

Hakata Gensuke QV
4.2
/ 359

200 Lonsdale St Constance Stone Lane 3000, Melbourne

Yes, you saw the queue and how small and packed the place is. You're intrigued, you queue for 20 mins but is it worth it? From all the ramen places in Melbourne, Hakata Gensuke might be my favourite. The broth is amazing, the chicken chasiu is amazing, and the noodles are perfect! Sadly, the QV branch does not serve their pork ramen (might be good because they're focusing on just one kind of broth). But still, it is DELICIOUS! A MUST TRY!

Bridie O'Reilly’s
4.0
/ 415

462 Chapel St 3141, Melbourne

I love this place! Really happening on Saturday nights and free entrance

Henry and The Fox
4.0
/ 414

525 Little Collins St Melbourne, CBD 3000, Melbourne

Henry and the Fox has a nice, cruisy vibe and we enjoyed both the food and the friendly service. There are definitely places in Melbourne CBD that give you better value for money, but that being said, there are specials available which we just haven't ordered yet. We'll be back!
