Agathe makes amazing croissant to start with, and they've made it better with the mouth-watering cruffin! It is all about croissant hybrid these days in the dessert world. Cruffin = croissant x muffin. Genius isn't it? Try their cruffins in either custard and peanut butter or just custard alone. It's decent for sharing (that is only if you want to!). Their other notable pastries are the many variety of croissants and peanut butter choux.

my partner and i both really enjoyed the food and the service was lovely, really attentive and knowledgeable without making you feel crowded or pressured to order more.

These authentic French crepes are just like the ones you can buy in the street in Paris. Absolutely delicious! If you pass by, you should definitely pick one up.

Great area but for what we received, a little disappointed with the price tag. Service was sub par and we received the wrong order. Understandable things can happen as it's a new place but would probably wait a few weeks for them to get their processes in place before visiting. The drinks menu is well curated and extensive, but the food was a let down.

Can't keep away. If you want excellent food, brilliant service and a restaurant that'll keep you coming back year after year... This is it. My pick is the filet bearnaise

Good coffee, food and service. Chef said he's willing to change the ingredients up if he's got your request.

Went here for work meeting. Entrance somewhat concealed, up a stairway to the restaurant. Interior is rustic, and quiet. Very friendly and prompt service. Had amazing beef tongue and waygu beef. Kingfish also looked good. Vast wine collection. Certainly not the cheapest, but decent value and nice dining experience.

Absolutely loved it, customer service was friendly and comforting, all smiles and jokes. The desserts took the right amount of time to reinsure quality but not make you impatient, and when it came out it made you feel like a kid when your mum promised you lollies for behaving. I ordered the sphere and my friend ordered the waffles, the sphere came out with a tiny jar of chocolate to pour over your dessert which makes for a fantastic Snapchat or Instagram boomerang to make all your friends jealous and the inside was filled with goodness. The waffles were airy so it didn’t leave you with the heavy feeling of guilt yet it hit the spot not leaving you unsatisfied. The coffee tasted like real coffee and didn’t feel watered down like some other coffees you would order at some places. Special shout out to the barista who had the friendliest vibe and made you feel like a superstar in a Hollywood movie. Definitely will be returning and I think it just might be my new favourite dessert spot to hit up!
Tasty food, good wine and all just as pretentious as you'd expect for a French restaurant in South Yarra. Not as expensive, or quite as refined, as France Soir.
