64/362 Coventry Street South Melbourne Market Stall 3205, Melbourne
Just EXCELLENT
Highly recommend
It is always our favourite patisserie at the South Melbourne market. We were there on Sunday very early morning to avoid the expected long queue. The classic croissant is my wife favour. Friendly service.
Agathe Patisserie are an iconic Melbourne patisserie most well known for their Pandan Croissant which is seriously so freaking delicious. OMG. They do delivery so get on it stat - YOU DESERVE IT!
Amidst the well known South Melbourne Market, there are many great food stalls. One particular place we often visit is Agathe Patisserie. Its French pastry are freshly made each morning. The mere waft of its croissants will attract you to it. See photos taken of what we bought. Very good but if compared the best one has eaten in a Parisien artisan bakery, i would say a fair 4 star for this one. Almost the best one can find in Victoria.
Delicious pastries! The queue is already quite long even we came at 8 in the morning. We’re glad that we managed to get the pandan flan. It is amazing! We bought a lot to bring them home to Sydney.
🏠: @agathepatisserie 📍: South Melbourne Market ———————————————————— 📝: Can never say no to Agathe’s bakeries when they’re this good 😍. It’s a place you cannot miss if you’re visiting South Melbourne Market. ❤️: Lucky enough to get my hands on the Easter Special Twice Baked Hot Vross Buns with almond filling, so heavenly 😍 It was next level hot x bun!
The savory pastry I had felt a bit greasy and salty. Nonetheless their almond croissant was exceptionally amazing. I would definitely come again and buy their sweet pastries from this store.
Sneaky and underhanded It is rare opportunity that I visit South Melbourne Market so was very much looking forward to a delicious Almond Croissant of which I purchased 3 @ $7.50 a piece. Instead of being given the luscious looking croissant on display the person serving sneakily went over to the rack at the back of the stall and chose which would have been the worst croissant I have ever seen. They were so over baked they were almost charcoal. When you charge such hefty prices the least you can do is operate with integrity. If there is a mishap during baking the business should wear the cost and not sneakily pass it onto the customer and charge full price. Never again will I spend $$$ at your stall Shame on you
The pandan croissants are quite literally the best croissants I’ve ever had. Amazing!
