Great job. Delicious laksa. As good as the one in Flemington but less busy, a little more expensive and they take credit/EFTPOS (with a 1.5% surcharge though). We had the laksa, keuy tow, and chicken noodle broth. Service was great.

When they're super busy the service is bad and the food quality drops, but it's still quite good. I personally love this place, especially their Char Kuey Teow

Such a historical restaurant with wear and tear on the wall finish. Yummy Cantonese food. Good selection of dishes. But service not so good. Patrons need good anger management skill prior dining here

7 Coleman Parade 3150, Glen Waverley

Where to start - this little gem would have to be one of the most well thought out, impressive restaurants I’ve been too in a long time. About the food – this is by the far the BEST Korean bbq I have ever had! The cuts of meat were clearly of a very high quality and the taste, well I’m getting hungry just thinking about it – absolutely delicious! The actual bbq’s were unique, nothing I’ve seen before and I believe this is the first restaurant in Aus with this particular type of bbq… The sides were delicious and traditional, and wines were perfectly matched. We left it up to Jason (the owner) to order for us and boy he did well! The wagyu beef was a highlight for me, just wow! A must try for sure! The façade and interior look great, love the wood theme. The place has a great vibe (and great acoustics too), love that we could be here as a group of 10 and not have to shout at one another. The staff were sweet and attentive and Jason and his wife Ella were more than accommodating, well done guys, you should be very proud. Hinoak is a MUST try!

Fried tofu with miso sauce is a beautiful dish and worth the visit alone. Add the volcano sauce to your order for extra spice!

Corlam Kitchen

252 Blackburn Rd 3150, Glen Waverley

Nothing fancy just good food served in the most BASIC form. But if want an event with your friends and extended family, might have to try some other place. Cheap tables and chairs. Bare minimum decor if you can call it as that. Choice of food in Bain Marrie (note to self... check spelling). Love the goat curry, fish head curry and check out the Dosai!!!!

Hainan Chicken

/ 283

52 Montclair Ave 3150, Glen Waverley

Small restaurant nestled on the busy Kingsway in Glen Waverley. Just a few doors away from the Century City cinema entrance. We managed to get in at the right time and were immediately seated. Orders had to be ordered at the front counter and we ordered the hainan steamed chicken, roasted chicken and a couple portions of chicken rice. It took roughly 10 mins for our order to arrived and it smells really good. The roast chicken is as you expect it, golden brown crispy skin and tender succulent chicken. Only ever so slightly dry. The steamed chicken is just silky and not overly oily. The chicken rice itself was fragrant. The soup was weak but ok. The ginger sauce was too over powering but the chilli was fine. At 12:30pm, the crowd soon piled in and was hard to walk around. Noticed a plate of pan fried dumplings ordered for another table and it came out severely charred. All in all it was ok. Slightly on the expensive side. $35 minimum for card payments.
