Wow! The best banh mi in Tasmania! maybe the world. I have been working in Hobart city for 15 years and this is without a doubt the best place I have been for lunch. The banh mi was sublime, the kebab was beautiful, it has so many flavours, and cooked to perfection. and the Vietnamese iced coffee was unbelievable. And the service is the best aswell. Do yourself a favour, and go here.

Most of the staff are great. Really like coming here. Always nice to go to a place where many of the staff remember your name, your order, and in one case your membership number. The coffee ranges from hohum to pretty good, depends who is making it.

This place is my weekday regular for a reason. The beans are good and each cup is consistently made. The only wobbles I've experienced are when it's really packed and staff are trying to cope with breakfasts as well as dozens of coffees. The staff are ALWAYS friendly, the decor is awesome, the music is just right. Make the time to drink in - don't take away - and you'll understand why this place is popular.

The food is great and we regularly get takeaway from here but will not go back again to eat in because of the service. It was incredibly slow and we had to continue to get up from the table to ask our waitress for things as nobody was coming to our table, despite it not being particularly busy at the time. As an example, 2 entrees were served out of a table of 4 and both of those entrees had been finished for 30minutes before the next two entrees came out, with no apology. Fortunately the food is good enough to continue going back for takeaway. Do recommend the tandoori lamb cutlets as well as the butter chicken. A real shame about the service, we brought friends here expecting so much more based on the food. Oh and if you have the entertainment book, be aware they won't let you use the voucher for takeaway, despite the voucher stating it can be used in all circumstances.

Great vibe on a saturday morning, first good coffee since I've moved from Melbourne. As for the person who was upset with their 'soy chai latte'.... I think the problem was it was a 'soy chai latte', need I say more?
