Olive & Angelo

We dined at 12:30 on a Saturday. We were greeted warmly at the counter immediately and had our choice of tables, as we were the only ones there. Over the course of the next hour, there were people at three other tables. The staff were friendly, genuine and knowledgeable. We had a calamari starter, lasagne and seafood tagliatelle. The meals were served promptly and they were hot and remarkable. Parmesan cheese and cracked pepper was offered at the table. Exquisitely balanced flavours worked in harmony with the pasta itself, which proved to be the star. Now I understand why supermarket pasta is so cheap. There were many meals to choose from, across a broad range of tastes. The prices were fair and in some cases, surprisingly good value. The wine list was very impressive. This little oasis in the middle of Brisbane was clam and welcoming and there was little traffic noise. I highly recommend this dining experience. We’ll be back. Soon.

Absolutely Recomend ! 🇮🇹 Best Italian in Brisbane, fabulous service, great drink selection.. we will absolutely be back. I really appreciated their selection. Side note, It appears that the owner is in the kitchen and is frequently being approached by return patrons thanking him personally for their experience. Great to see, love it ! ♥️

Beautiful food, beautiful restaurant and beautiful staff. Traditional Italian food was bursting with flavour and every dish was better then the last. Angelo personally came to every table to mingle with patrons. Angelo has a larger than life personality and it really tops of a great dinning experience.

Great service and ambiance. Amazing pizza. It tastes the same as one of the pizzas that I had in Naples. Brought back so many good memories. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful setting - like a candlelit garden, but more or less inside. Perfect intimate place for a date night. Staff are super lovely too, and the food is fantastic.

The staff were all friendly and the food was incredible. Nadia was an absolutely delightful waitress and our food was perfectly cooked and came out really fast. They all went above and beyond to make my wifes birthday special. Wonderful atmosphere and would 100% recommend to anyone.

This restaurant has a cozy romantic garden and live music but upstairs was very loudly. We couldn’t hear each other and the food was was mediocre. Lots of birthday songs were sung by the Chef and the waitresses, the vibe was nice for celebrating occasions.

This is a pretty traditional Italian restaurant, the best in Brisbane City. I have always gone here as a couple, but this place is perfect for a large gathering or a birthday. With larger groups the owner comes out and makes sure you are looked after and changes things around in his menu from banquet to whatever. He also does a pretty awesome "Happy Birthday" song. Book this place in advance because it's popular for a reason

We had a wonderful experience at Olive & Angelo. Great food, very attentive staff and great outdoor vibe. The wood fired olives and flat bread - YUM! Fresh gnocchi and the best tagliatelle marinara ever! Will definitely be back!
