164 Grey St Shop 23, Corner of Grey and Little Stanley Streets 4101, Brisbane
The food is tasty, the staff are friendly and they try to help if you are going to a show after dinner. My only complaint is that some of the table set-up isn't ideal for the group size they put at them.
Service was great. Food not up to usual standard.
Brilliant in every way
An amazing feed as usual. We were grateful to get a table for lunch as lockdown had just been announced for that evening. Felt so sorry for the staff but they never showed any concern to us. Highly recommended by myself and my husband. Thanks guys 😁
It is rare that I give a poor review but after much deliberation, I felt that it was necessary that I share my experience. From the start, despite having very few customers (off-peak hours) we had to wait a while to be served even though there were waiters standing around. The hostess was very haughty, chilly to the point of condescending. The actual waiter who served us was really the only redeeming factor of our experience there. He was sweet, attentive and very pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The spaghetti was sad and bland. The pizza really ordinary to the point of dull. However, the tomato & peach salad was exquisite. We would have happily ordered 3 bowls of that and walked away with the highest recommendations for food. When it came time to pay, we were asked if we would like to tip which given our experience, we politely declined. The demeanour of the person at the checkout changed immediately. He didn’t even have the courtesy to mask his disgust and disapproval. My hopes is the owner at The Spaghetti House Trattoria will take the opportunity to consider the culture and ethos of the restaurant they have created. Fundamentally, people are drawn to restaurants not for the food alone but for the entire dine-in experience. One that reflects that they care about their food and also the people they serve it to.
The food was nice, had spaghetti with chilli, for the price would have like a bit more. Can't say much about the garlic bread. If you want to be successful check out Mario's at Southport. If you do what they do you will have people coming back again an again not just once.
Waited 1hr 15 on a Monday night. Quiet as. For food for two people, when food arrived it was warm. Let staff know, but we're insincere. This was a different experience to my last visit. Won't be returning. Service poor, food quality poor.
Beautiful view of Brisbane friendly cafe
The breads and the Scollapini Al Fungi were delicious. Spaghetti was a little bland and dry. Beers were cold and atmosphere was pleasant. Staff were courteous and very attentive. Overall an enjoyable dinner experience but not quite perfect.
I had dinner here with a group of friends and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the gnocchi with Gorgonzola cheese and tiramisu. Highly recommend.
