Alchemy Restaurant and Bar Brisbane

We had a work function here and it was wonderful. The staff were super supportive and attentive to all the needs, especially Josh who was amazing! He was so friendly, informative and great at keeping are glasses filled. The food and wine was also amazing. We had a three course meal and all the comments and feedback from the guests at the table was positive. Can't get a better place with a fantastic view of the story bridge. Will be back.....

Hosted a work event here in the private dining room and the evening was amazing! The event planning staff were extremely helpful and responsive and made the night run so smoothly. The menu and wine selection was superb and I can't wait to visit again soon! The view of the story bridge was magical and just elevated the whole evening!!!

We went here for our 6 month 'anniversary' dinner and I asked for a nice table when I made the reservation. They definitely delivered! We got what I think must be the best table in the house with a full view of the story bridge. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and they don't crowd the table so it's quiet enough to have a conversation. The waitstaff were brilliant - attentive without being intrusive. The food was magnificent - we boh had three courses and ordered different things but every one of the six dishes was outstanding. They even did a little 'happy anniversary' plate for us which was really sweet. Can't recommend Alchemy highly enough, truly unforgettable dining experience for us.

I was meeting my friend for lunch. As soon as I arrived for our reservation, he texted me saying he was running late by half an hour. I was feeling a bit uneasy but decided to inform my waitperson. She was very empathetic and made sure that there wouldn’t be a problem. He was actually 45 minutes late but made it. It was almost 2pm but she didn’t rush us to order our lunch. Our food was very good. Thank you so much for making me feel welcome and comfortable.

Disappointing. Overall the foods are not worth that price. I went there with my partner tonight for his birthday dinner. Before we go, I had a conversation with one of their team members who helped me to rearrange my booking time and put down a note for birthday dinner via email. We ordered three course($87) for two, which is $174, one of the courses was cheese cake. I thought they would put happy birthday words on the side of the plate. However, even in the end after we paid and left the restaurant. Nothing happened. Calamari was okay but small. Gnocchi was just okay as well but not special. Risotto was not really flavoursome. Pork belly was again okay but not amazing. Beef cheek was something wrong with the ingredient. It had bitter taste in the end. I would say the mashed potatoes which was a side dish better than the beef cheek itself. Last but not least, my partner even said Coles cheese cake is better than theirs. I would not mind to give it a go for once. But sadly, I do not think I will go back in the future, at least for a long time before I give them another chance.

Brilliant returant. The 3 course menu and anything lamb is to die for. Amazing staff great food and an even better view!! What else could you ask for.

Absolutely top shelf restaurant in every aspect. Lovely staff! Nice view to Story Bridge and Brisbane River. Fantastic setting and the food were wonderful! I had my wife's birthday dinner over there and loved it!

We attended as part of a very large group, for a school parent function. The food was top notch and really good value. We had amazing canapés and attentive wait staff who seemed to be constantly coming round with yet more trays of food. Everyone raved about the quality of the food. We were very well taken care of and so full! Great night out.

Great service and quality foods. Price point is perfect for the quantity of the meals.
