I took my fiancé for the first and last time to Mimi’s for lunch today the staff and service were great but the food for “fine dining”, was well below par. We had some small starters, the Quail, pork belly and potato. The starters were ok, the quail was undercooked and the sauce tasted like boiled down fat and the pork belly well cooked and again sauce over reduced and over sweet.
Spending over $300 for a lunch for 2 people I would expect a higher quality of food.
Also a table of 25 people was seated right behind us so with all the noise we could not have a conversation without shouting over the table.
