Zambrero Darwin

Zambrero had become my favourite lunch when I worked over in Palmerston. When I began work in the city I was stoked that there was a location in the CBD. Unfortunately, the location itself is the ONLY good thing. I waited 20 minutes at the service bar, waiting for somebody to finish her really important chat out back. She shouldn't talk so loud about her sexual exploits in the work place by the way. About ten minutes in, somebody began to come out, but she checked her phone, and went back into the "kitchen". (We can probably just call it a lounge area, since that's how it's being used by your staff) I was out the door when this girl came out of the "kitchen", and her face displayed shock as I walked out the door, as if I was in the wrong. I would definitely recommend cleaning house and I will never be returning to any of your locations.

If they think your drunk they will charge you more.

rudest service, when I come to Darwin from 3 hours south we love to get zambreros. However every time we go to the Darwin CBD store the staff are so rude and act as though the customer is being an inconvenience. I ordered a burrito and a vegetarian bowl, there was basically no lettuce left in either of the 2 tubs and the employee serving me could care less, she didn’t ask if I wanted sauces etc on either of the 2 items, I asked for sauces as she started rolling the burrito up and she rolled her eyes. your employees don’t have to like their job but the could at least do it in a more polite manner!

Zambrero's has been a favourite of mine and after being overseas for 7 months I was so excited. I was served with the crappiest service, burrito was not portioned properly and wrapping was covered in sauce. Not impressed & wont return.

Love this place, I have lots of intolerances and I can eat freely here without worry, food is delicious and has lots of healthy options!

Nice clean store in the city, aircon inside and has all the usual zambrero items. Also open late on Friday and Saturday nights which is good if you've had a few drinks and don't want a yiros or chips.
