Yarra Glen Cafe & Store

After everywhere else was way too busy today in Yarra Glen, I nearly hit the road in search of somewhere else to go for lunch until I stumbled across this place.. I was greeted with a big smile from one of the young ladies which immediately made me feel welcome.. The food was even better.. I has the chicken schnitzel focassia and it was absolutely delicious.. It was enormous but delicious.. I'll definitely be back. I loved every minute. Thx

This is a nice little Cafe, second time we've been here on way back from Blueberry picking last year, and this year. Food is good quality, freshly made and appears "homestyle". For example the Sausage roll was home made and large, tasted good (my home made is better but still this was good). We didn't have them today, but the scones with jam and cream looked amazing.

On a hunt for very late lunch and accidentally found this place - the only shop opened in Yarra Glen around 3-4pm when everywhere else is closed to prepare for dinner, saved my life for sure. Super friendly staff, delicious food (veg lasagna and especially loved their salad dressing - what did they put in there that’s so interesting and unique?). Interesting place of what looks like someone’s house renovated to become a cafe and lots and lots of art displayed in there - walls, tables, everywhere! Would go back again!

Booked a table for a birthday lunch the day before. Arrived to not have a table ready or even available. Owner/person in charge was in complete panic as it was evident he had given table away. Got moved to the ice creamery next door where tables were filthy from ice cream stains and drink rings and the only customers. Waitress tried her hardest to accommodate but came to the cafe to eat in the cottage and next to the fire on a cold day and very disappointed to be booted next door. Wasn’t notified over the phone that there might be the possibility we won’t be eating in the cafe even with a booking. Won’t be returning even with having family history in the cottage and on display.

Good coffee, nachos took 40 minutes to come out

Friendly staff and the food was delicious and filling. The schnitzel burger is best shared you unless you have a monster hunger.

The staff here wow so friendly. The food was delicious and kinda big portion. I ordered juice and it was fresh, yummy! The only concern is, the coffee wasn't great at all. I ordered soy latte and the milk looks skinny milk or perhaps oat milk? I dunno but yep the coffee not good at all so need to improve.

Good coffee. Garden seating area outside is lovely. Friendly staff.
