This place was amazing. The food was next level, my steak perfectly cooked and chocolate molten cake flowing beautifully, and we had the friendliest server I have ever met, whose name I don't know but he was attentive and kind. Will definitely head back when I head to Melbourne again.

Waterfront Southgate was an amazing experience. From the service, the ambience to most importantly the food - everything was of a top quality. The wait staff were all amazing - extremely kind and responsive, always checking up on you without being too overbearing. They even changed our table to a larger one upon request even though they were extremely busy. The food was top tier - from the entrees all the way to dessert. The freshness of the seafood was noticeable - the main courses were of a decent size which justified the price - and the dessert plus coffees were exquisite. The beef was halal for those diners interested to know - and they were extremely understanding and had no hesitation explaining certain dishes which would not be halal suitable. Thank you to the Waterfront Southgate team for an extremely enjoyable dining experience.

Had a great dining experience here last weekend. Nice outdoor seating with view which was perfect for an interstate visitor like myself😂plenty of heating all around as it was a freezing evening. The service was great as well and our waiter was very attentive.

Lovely meal as always. I'm usually here for the fresh seafood but thought we'd just drop by for drinks and snacks today. Staff was amazing and the lycheetini cocktail and afogatto was 👌

Very nice atmosphere with great food. The view was awesome from our table. The staff are second to none they really made an enjoyable lunch even better. The steak and seafood was brilliant and up there with the best I've ever had. Overall excellent 👍
