Wantirna Mall Charcoal Chicken

sumptuous grilled chicken , smell of which, even a strict vegetarian like myself almost couldn't resist ( but i did of course). Truth be told, my wife did succumb to it. It wouldn't hurt to have chicken once in a while she says. The stuffing they put inside the grilled chicken is in itself a dish by itself, looking so irresistibly delicious.

Salads not enough for what you pay for and quarter chicken is way to expensive $6

A really great lunch. The staff were super helpful catering to my off menu requests perfectly. The chips were seasoned perfectly and both the lamb and chicken souvas were delicious. Was the first time I'd been in and I will definitely return

Decent food, friendly service.

Purchased some chips and gravy and the chips were hard and under cooked & only half full. The gravy was the best part but even then had some 'unique' flavour you may call it that wasn't very pleasing. Very disappointed & will be going to the fish and chip shop up the road that does a better job of chips and gravy in the future & will be telling friends and family to also go there. (From a customer who used to work at a charcoal chicken shop & definitely knows this doesn't cut it)

I tried to get in contact with the restaurant which was made impossible, I ordered the chicken pack with my choice of salad and chips, i didn't get the choice of salad so I've attempted to to contact the restaurant the customer service by Menulog was absolutely atrocious, couldn't get through to the restaurant and to be told my order has already been picked up by the menu log driver, my order has arrived covered with egg salad which I'm allergic to and did not order, so I can't eat any of my meal at all, I tried contacting the restaurant again after finally speaking with management I was dismissed completely and blamed for their poor service and then they continue to blame menu log and myself for their incompetence and told I should have used uber eats not Menulog and there is nothing they can do to fix this problem now I've wasted money and can't eat any of my contaminated order and have been spoken to like I'm the idiot, absolutely disgusted.

Staff were nice. As was the salad. Chicken was so DRY it was almost inedible!

Soggy souvlaki. More tomato and lettuce than meat. A dash if sauce. No flavour. Chicken was dry. Had to repeat my order 3 times. More interested in chatting than cooking. Chips were so salty could not eat them. Really disappointed. Not going back.

Their chicken is great but their potato cakes are THE BEST.
