620 Victoria St, Richmond
Good centre with the added novelty of IKEA.
This is a nice cosy mall, though you need to pay for parking if you don't shop at Ikea or Kmart. With $6 spent, you get 4 free hours of parking here. Basically this mall is for Ikea shopping...
Home to Ikea. Need I say more?
When you think about a place to shop that's got you covered, this isn't it, but it sure is close. The mall could do with some wifi. The bathrooms are nice though. STORES AND SERVICES There's probably one or two stores for each thing you want (at the mid to high end of the cost range, though bear in mind, this is from the perspective of "do I buy some okay clothes or do I eat this month" economic threshold). The food court has plenty of variety, and offers a relaxing place to hide away in your phone until it's all over. There's a couple of really fancy juice places that sell you juice for the cost of a full meal. I mean, mad respect for people who can afford $10 or higher fruit drinks but if you're going for fitness, I think you'll get it by running out of food money by spending it all on juice. I guess THEN you'll lose weight. Also, the Liquorland in the Coles on this location is *inside* Coles, which means I normally have to buy in Coles, and then exit, and then come back in to use my dockets in Liquorland. How about that. OPENING HOURS I like going there after work, which presents a problem, because the only things open are, usually, Ikea and K-mart. Now I have too many Ikea scented candles. What am I supposed to do with all these BRÄCKAS? I guess I'll just inhale the sweet smell of Swedish affordability until I die.
Found different stores
Parking is just so difficult here, plus they charge for it
Good place to visit
Great shopping experience, there's a Massive IKEA which makes for good shopping times.
Plenty of parking, decent food options, and the newly refurbished Cinema with leather recliners.. and Kmart and Ikea to boot.
the shopping centre serves its purpose. GOOD hoyts experience with (?Faux.. not sure) leather luxurious recliner seats and a fair cafe just off the food court. other than that, there's not particularly much socially to do there. It's clean, there's IKEA, coles K-mart, daiso, a few other bits and pieces. too bad there's a fee on parking (first hr inclusive) if you don't buy anything (only some stores can offer you free parking if using their services). oh, there's also a gym hiding there if you're into that.
