Yes there's a main food court in the actual shopping centre and one also in IKEA. Decent variety to choose from.

Is there an Aldi store?

No but there's an aldi at the hive shopping complex in Abbotsford it's only up the road towards north richmond station on the corner of Victoria street and Nicholson street

There used to be a stall that sold soap, is that still there & if not does anyone know the company name?

I think the place you're after is called the Wash and Lather Company. The pop up store was there last week. Their Facebook page says that the store will be at Vic Gardens until March.
