Vacanza in the Hills

Really solid pizza and good service. I've actually never been inside as we usually bring our dog and sit outdoors. The mozzarella focaccia is fantastic and the tomato base for the pizza is delicious. Cheap house wines by the carafe as well. It's often crowded, so try going at an off time or make a booking.

Went here for a birthday dinner Wednesday 4/11 - had been wanting to go for a long time, and the food was beautiful. Unfortunately service was pretty hit and miss. We had one attentive and polite waitress while another was fairly rude, lacked customer service and at the end of the night rushed away our remaining food, immediately scraping it into the bin before we could even stop her. Part of the food (not all) was replaced but this one waitress did overall affect our experience.

I had the best experience at Vacanza -- great service and food! There were no vegan options on the menu however the wait staff were extremely friendly and easily adapted a pizza on the menu to fit my dietary requirements and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Definitely a place to eat, will be going back.

Great casual pizzeria in Surry Hills. Excellent pizza and salads, indoor or outdoor seating and good service. Well worth a visit would be a great local and well priced.

Hidden Gem, coffee was unbelievably good after having a few average ones at previous places. Full cream, full flavour and heavily roasted beans, just how I like them. Food was pretty good too but would go back for the coffee all day every day!!

Made a great Margherita Pizza - 10/10. Prosciutto and rocket pizza - 8/10 - lacked flavour. Something missing. Can't quite pinpoint what? Perhaps needed some oregano or more parmesan dressing. Pizza bases - 10/10. Authentic Italian feel and cuisine. Lovely waitresses. Simple, but enjoyable fit out to be around. Easy to to find, whether you walk there or park nearby. Cute corner restaurant gem.

The Pizza was fantastic. And the general vibe was very cool. Glad it's around the corner from me now. Will be visiting quite often.

The food is all delish, order anything and it will be great. However you always feel rushed. I've eaten here twice in the last week and I understood being pushed out the door on a Friday night which was clearly busy but on a Wednesday night (when it's clear there's no one waiting for our table as others are empty) I think it's rude to insist we pay almost as soon as our desserts are cleared. And it was nowhere near closing time. Most of the staff are really lovely and positive but our waitress tonight definitely had a crumby attitude.
