Urban Greek

Dinner for two started with a warm welcome, a trio of delicious dips and perfectly toasted pita bread. The mulled cherry cider warmed us up before we enjoyed some soutzoukakia (meatballs in a rich sauce) and a mixed platter with an assortment of charcoal cooked meats, all enjoyed whilst enjoying the industrial fitout and pleasant staff. Absolutely loved this place - will be back for sure!

Brilliant night out! The staff were fantastic- knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing! We had the $65 banquet and there was an over abundance of food which we kept eating as it was all so delicious. We had dips, fritters, saganaki cheese,chicken, lamb, octopus, prawns and a delicate custard filo pie for dessert. A perfect night out. Highly recommended! Thank you!!

Amazing food! Every dish is so flavoursome, keeps you going back for more even when you are so full. Service was amazing :)

The food is beautiful , the services is amazing. We had a table of 15 and nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to visit again.

Delicious Greek food and excellent service! So glad we ate here before heading back to Melbourne. The Baklava gelato sandwich dessert was my favourite! Hope to come back again one day!

Amazing Food - Exceptional Service - Best Place to Eat in Hobart I visited Urban Greek on a holiday and celebrate my wife's Birthday and it was absolutely great. The staff is exceptional and the food is top notch... !!! Highly Recommended.... !!!!

Myself & wife called the restaurant by phone at 10am and got a message on there answering machine to leave a message in which we gave details for a booking around 6pm & Nobody called us back. My wife then called them around 3pm to be told by them "We just got in ,we have not looked at the message', we are fully booked ',you can seat at the bar if you like?. Really poor customer service we had come up from Melbourne & it was our Anniversary. Why have a answering machine when you don't even look at it?, will be letting family & friends know not to go there as that was very poor service.

This was raved about, so I visited with my husband on our visit to Hobart a few years back. However, the food is overly rich and fatty, and I didn't find it as enjoyable as it sounded on the menu. Heavy reliance on meat over flavour.. As a perscatarian it's not a good go-to compared to other offerings nearby. But if you love Greek food and meat it's a good choice.
