A sight not to miss when the sun goes down in the evening. Following day had a drive around the base of the rock with several stop offs.

Excellent spot to view Uluru at sunset...stunning! Seeing the rock change colors was magical. The tour with snacks and drinks helped make for a perfect ending to a great day at Uluru. Tip: invest in a hat and fly head net..or the billions of flies will drive you nuts.

It's worth a trip to the viewing spot to watch the sunset in Urulu. We had a lovely snack with our tour group here as we had a direct view of the sunset.

Beautiful views to watch the colour changes that take place during sunset. Can be a bit busy with the crowds, but you can find a good spot for photos if you want to.

I did this trip as part of my Outback Adventures Tour. Great way to end a spectacular first day in the Red Centre. A tourist 'must' and difficult to ignore the beauty. Be prepared for the crowds of coaches and tourists each with their individual nibbles and wine set-up. A great place to buy indigenous artwork directly from the artist. When purchasing, the artist is often happy to allow you a photo with their artwork and to sign it for you. MUST ASK FIRST!

Wow -what a great place! Spectacular view of the Rock in the middle of the desert. Seeing the sunset with Uluru in the background was stunning. The colours during the day are striking and then change to more subtle colours as the sun sets. Best to go during winter - June, July or August so it's not too hot during the day though for walks and hikes.

My favourite place to see The Uluru colour change It's just amazing Make sure get there thirty minutes before sunset Great access for people with disabilities Depending on the season (If it's summer) Take flies net No toilet facilities Next, to a toilet facility, it's about ten minutes drive to Cultural Centre If you are in winter time take warm clothes it gets very cold ❄️
