Old Ayers Rock Olgas Rd, Petermann
Being here at sunset has to be one of the highlights of this trip. The wait was worth it with absolutely stunning views of the Uluru in the setting sun. The changing colours of both the Uluru and the sky in the backdrop made for some awe inspiring views and photos. Reaching here was easy and the tour guide was right about bringing us here well before the sunset so that we could take up the choicest spots for the views
AAT KINGS are great thx for being entertained & informed well about the history.
The bbq dinner provided was OK. View of Ayers Rock and the ability to interact with the local Aboriginal people was nice!
Only for tour groups. We got mimosas and a cheese tray. Great place to see Uluru, but the coaches blocked the sunset so you couldn't see both at the same time.
The best view you can get from ground level.
Stunning experience. Loved it. Worth paying the extra for the small private off road version. See pics
View was amazing when the sun is shining in the right spot.
I have the fortune of witnessing sunset in this location several times a year, and it's always magical!
Everyone who accomant with tour agency have to be there but it isn't packed of people. You still can have a nice shot of Uluru here
Great views, but expect to be on buses of tourists pushing for the best views and stuffing their faces full of complimentary tortilla chips and cheese. The views are tranquil, but the company is not.
