Been here 10 yrs ago. The place had not change much and its hospitable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Being in the North, I would choose outdoor during the dry season and indoor during the wet. Not sure you will get mozzies during the wet season if one seat outdoors. The location of this place is quite interesting. As I walked into the small street, it doesnt seems to be a restaurant there till I reached the front gate. When I walked into the restaurant it prides itself for waygu. I tried the 700-900gm wagyu and its amazing. It's soft with pleasant texture. Though, looking back, it think the size is a bit too big. Next time I'll settle for 400gm. They have a good range of beers. Hope you enjoy your steak.

Been to Australia 18 times, and this is one of the best places I have been here in Australia! As a solo traveler, I felt extremely welcome the moment I came in, that I actually had to come back a second night before I left. I cant explain how they remembered me being so busy, but they did! One of the best steaks and I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Have been here more then 6 times. Staff are always friendly and are full of personality. Tim the owner will come around and say hello and staff have fun magic tricks while you wait for your food. Every thing I've ordered from the kitchen has been cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.

I'm gutted, this restaurant cooked me the best kilo rump steak I have had in decades.... And I'm a Kiwi... Very informal but more than made up for by the quality of ingredients, the salads were plain but very fresh with nice touches of feta etc. The single seafood platter was massive and I doubt anyone could finish it, included were bugs, prawns, fish, mussels, oysters, squid and a huge portion of fries. Real value for money but make sure you go hungry.

Great food, great people. For the price, this is one of the best steak restaurant in Darwin. Super friendly staff and owner (crazy uncle Tim 😄) and great services. The wagyu is excellent, but ask them to cook it rare (or medium rare). The T-bone is huge it's enough for 2.

At the first impression Since we been in Darwin. With a lovely owner name ‘s Tim. I don’t know how many thanks would be enough to say to the owner and this place. After he knew what was we have been thought he just give we a good laugh, look after as we one of the family. This is what I feel. Thank you so much for a beautiful steak and a warm kindness welcome. We definitely will come back if we have a chance to come back to Darwin

We were greeted at the dining entrance (wait to be seated section) with a massive greeting, meal orders explained (Bistro prepay type system) and received them without too much delay. The meals were timely, tasty and generous. There was some light entertainment by Tim and staff with their magician tricks which was entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience there. Thanks to Tim, Tracey and the staff. We'd certainly revisit and recommend this restaurant.

Great place. The food was good. Took a while to get the food which would not be bad if I was having a few drinks.

There are a only a few places in town where they offer good steaks. If you’re after the best of the best go to Tim’ Surf & Turf - and even if you’re not after beef, the Oysters are fresh and delicious and the rest of the menu does not leave room for much to be missed. You can even order crocodile. And all that is topped with the owner keeping his keen eye on the quality at all times. Thanks for taking good care of us and putting a smile on our faces with your magic. True Blue and Fair Dinkum! Cheers
