Tholos Restaurant

The place was cute and great service but what I got for a vegan meal was over priced by about 15 dollars. A half an eggplant with rice inside and beans... not worth over 30 dollars. Blue mountain prices though so what can you do? This meal was over 100 dollars.

I ordered a moussaka which is a gluten free Greek lazanga that has an eggplant base with soft ground beef and lamb and a player of special Greek cheese. I walked by the kitchen and you could see legit chefs preparing the food so I had a feeling it would be good. The food was delicious and served within half hour. We were immediately seated on a Saturday night. I'd definitely recommend.

Feel like painting Blue Mountain brown? Try out Tholos! We had high expectations after being referred to this restaurant. Although our server was absolutely lovely, attentive, and knowledgeable, our meals were less than satisfactory. Our server described each dish to us with great reviews, but once served we were disappointed. Our appetizer (the dip platter) was delicious and beautifully plated. However, our main courses were poorly plated and seasoned. The “roasted” potatoes were not served roasted, they were boiled if anything? A salad was ordered, and a bowl of cherry tomatoes was served. We will not be returning for a second taste. Each bite we took was a fight to swallow, and we love Greek food, but we were not delivered what we were promised.

AVOID THIS PLACE. They charge 18% gratuity on groups of 5 including families with children. Then they suggest the tip option after adding it.!!! The menu slightly mentions it but not the %. Way over priced. Nice decor and family friendly with lots of young kids. A bit loud for that reason. I wouldn't suggest for a couple night. Food is good but not really worth the price. The music was terrible too, kinda ruined the feel.

Amazing mousaka !! Great lamb and chicken souvlaki dinner option. Mousaka is one of the more difficult meals to get right - and the kitchen does it here to perfection.

The food was amazing. We had Greek salad which exceeded our expectations. Soooo fresh. I had the chicken and my husband had the lamb. The server made amazing suggestions on how to order our meals. (There are a few ways, depending on how hungry you are)

Make sure you have a reservation as this place gets super busy and walk-ins are usually turned back (especially on a busy day). Probably one of the best places in the village.

They deserve 0 stars but that’s not an option so. Atrocious racism shown by the people who run this restaurant. We walked in as a group of 3, we’re all minorities, followed by a separate group of white people. The man who runs this restaurant who I assume is the manager, greeted us by telling us that the hostess would get to us. And then immediately excitedly greeted the group of white people behind us. This left us very very confused. Then when we were finally shown our table (keep in mind, it was NOT busy at this time), we asked the manager for a table close to the window so we could see our snowboards which were parked outside. He instead told us that he has worked here for decades and no snowboards have ever been stolen and then proceeded to bring us to a table at the back of the restaurant. Um….okay? At this point we were already pretty upset with the level of service. To make matter worse, once we sat down, our waitress came and brought us water, and then disappeared for the next 15 minutes. We asked a random server if we could place our order and he told us he would find our server. Then all the hostesses and servers just stood there staring at us awkwardly looking like they had no idea what was going on. This made us feel embarrassed even though we had done absolutely nothing wrong. They finally have someone come and take our order and then atleast the food came in a timely manner. The food itself was fine. Not great, not awful. But extremely extremely overpriced.

Nice restaurant, beautiful inside, great friendly staff, the food was also good.

Lovely high end restaurant at Blue Mountain. The patio and the inside both have a great atmosphere. The food was pretty exceptional. While we were there, they had Bluelicious going on so they had special items. I had the whole grilled Branzino which was so good! The service was a little slow but at least you're in a nice location.
