The Stirling Hotel Food

I’ve been coming to the Stirling Hotel regularly for at least 15 years and tonight was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The bar staff are more concerned about serving the scantily clad already drunk teenagers and overlook the rest of the customers. I lined up for a significant time to order food to then be told I had to order at the pizza bar instead of the usual spot. Where’s the signage?! When we did get our food the chips were completely cold. The music is deafening at 6pm and doesn’t get any better. You’d be forgiven for thinking you were in a night club rather than a regional pub. And to top it off the bathrooms are a disgusting mess and there’s no paper towel to dry your hands. For a pub that’s won so many awards it certainly does not live up to expectations.

This place is amazing the food is generous have been here twice and would highly recommend this place. The hospitality we received was amazing as well thank you for everything

Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend booking a table in advance because it does get busy at times. We will be definitely coming back. Highly recommend.

I rented a function room and we had great experience. Michelle was very professional and assisted us a great deal. Other than that i always had pleasant experience there. Food is fresh and tasty. Crowd is friendly. This venue deserves the best review possible

It's a nice place.. Went there at night, but could only get pizza for a meal. It was very tasty, but very pricey.

Food options were great and we had a lovely meal. Staff were generally rushed and it was confusing as to where to sit and where to order and where to get drinks. Apart from that we did enjoy our meal and we will be back.
