The Squid Shack

We had the Fisherman's Basket and it was deliciously cooked. Freshest Shark - Whiskery and Squid that just melts upon chewing. Love it!

Very disappointed, fish appeared overdone and had a burnt taste rendering it inedible, chips not nice either, suspect cooking oil had not been changed for a long time. Wont be going back anytime soon. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else would be my advice.

The polystyrene containers will go soon internationally, so why don't Squid Shack loose them now. Hopefully they change the oil before then.

Once, I would have given it 5 stars, my chips were a hares breath from being burnt, the fish was very greasy . Maybe the oil in the vats needed changing, I dont know, the best thing about my lunch from there today, was my drink, from a bottle. Shame, I was so disappointed. Total waste of money.

Friendly cheerful service. Wait wasn't too long and they are open till 7pm. I recommend the salt and pepper squid, they were delicious. We also had the fish of the day (red snapper) but that was nothing to shout home about.

Old fashioned fish and chips. No frills just fresh, delicious food at wooden tables right on the beach.
