The Roses Cafe

My husband & I decided to finally try Roses Cafe today for lunch. Hubby ordered the beef burger and chips, and I ordered the chicken mayo walnut sandwich on multigrain. We also ordered a strawberry and a banana milkshake, with two lattes while we waited for our meals. The young lady that took our order promptly arrived with the milkshakes and we reminded her that we first wanted our coffee and then the milkshakes with our meals. Our coffees were lovely. Then the rest arrived....what a disgrace it was! The burger was thrown together with a tasteless blob of mince, a slice of beetroot, masses of mixed leaves, a smattering of chutney and refried old stale bitty fatty chips. My sandwich was quite average and served on WHITE bread. I asked for multigrain. The Milkshakes were flavourless and watery. It was possibly one of the worst lunch experiences we have ever had. What a waste of $60!!!

Great place, deserts look amazing! Had eggs on toast with bacon & smashed avo, was pretty good but the stand out was the sausage roll! So delicious. Chocolate thickshake was 10/10 Coffee was average Scones were 7/10 Amazing place, would come here again and recommend

Cannot pass Goulburn on the way to Canberra without stopping in at the Roses Cafe. Great coffee and beautiful food. Best of all is the lovely , smiling staff !!!

Ordering slow. But food is quickly despatched to your table with attentive and enthusiastic wait staff. Generous serves in a great location.

Make sure you're hungry before you go here! The serves are HUUUUUUUUGE! And the food is so so good, and the staff are so friendly. The food here is very reasonably priced, and is all fresh.

Wow, what a little gem. Located in Montague St Goulburn, side street opposite park. What a variety of food, it's a treasure trove!!! Had the curry lamb pie, delicious. Staff were welcoming, and so friendly. Highly recommend a drop in if passing by.

Best cafe in Goulburn. A must when travelling from Sydney to Canberra. Only cafe I have been too where they open the door for you. Great service and exceptional food

Ordered chicken schnitzel burger for $20.00. Thought it would be a freshly crumbed schnitzel for the price. Unfortunately it was a cheap frozen schnitzel cut in half and doubled onto the burger. Chips were ok though.
