Went here today for our dinner with my friends. Our booking was on 6pm. And I remember we order our food before 6.30pm. The drink was serve very quickly and we are satisfied with the drinks that we order. But the food is serving super slow and we get our food around 7.05pm. When I start eating our food, I was very disappointed as our food is COLD at all! I ask my friend that is ur food hot or cold, she give me same response as we waiting for so long end up just get cold food, just the chips was still hot! We order pork Ribs and rib eye that should be cook in medium. But I think the rib eye was serve in medium well. I ask the waitress that the food was cold and she said will grill again for us. But still the same thing and issue. I spend so much money to enjoy my Monday night end up just disappointed with the food that you guys serving for us! We will go other restaurant to try others food and might won't return again because of upset with the food that serve is not worth of the money that I paid!

Loves the atmosphere here, and the people. They are a friendly bunch and food is great. They are quite busy to worth booking prior to your visits. The meat is really good and the staff knows what they are doing when they give you recommendations. Also if you request they do write happy birthday on the desert plates. So will definitely suit a celebration.

I was there over the weekend, I heard the lady sitting next to me saying (when paying her bill) “we didn’t order this, why have you charged us for it ?” , That prompted me to go through my bill and no surprise, I was charged for basting twice! and I was also charged for pepper sauce when I ordered my steak- all these years dinning out I was never charged for a sauce separately when ordering a steak. Where on earth you have to pay for your sauce separately when you order stark ?? Food was ok, nothing fancy except the prices were higher than average, regardless, not criticizing on prices, but definitely not going back because of their rip offs.

The Meat & Wine Co Southbank offers first-class service with polite staff, delicious meals and a clean, comfortable dine-in area. Although I’m not a big fan of their steak options, I would highly recommend their meat ribs and cocktails. Overall, a great place for a more special dining experience with good friends or a significant other.

I ordered the Three Course Express Lunch, and l couldn't have been more pleased. The Szechuan Calamari melted in my mouth. I loved the balanced seasoning and the Nam Jim sauce was a lovely complement. The 250g Wagyu Rump was masterfully cooked medium (as requested) throughout. A very high quality cut, this definitely isn't your average steak. I usually bristle at the thought of ordering a steak, but you'd be mistaken to choose anything else here. The Veal Jus subtly brought out the beefy flavour – nothing else needed. The chips were evenly cooked – crispy exterior; fluffy interior. The Strawberry Crème Brûlée was the perfect way to round out a delightful meal. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. I will be back!

Popular steak restaurant. You'll find a good mix of tourists and locals. This restaurant appears to be popular among both couples and families. If you're lucky enough to get a table away from familes/children this place makes for a great date night otherwise a few drinks will help with whatever distraction nearby children might cause. Suggest asking for a table away from big groups and families with young children. Dining here I am reminded that good things come to those who wait, this was especially true for the entrees and cocktails. Both south African sausages and steak tartare were fantastic and the old fashioned cocktail I had to start with was delicious although there was a long wait. Would of been nice to have received the cocktail to sip on while waiting. Once the mains arrived I am reminded why we keep coming back here. The steaks are fantastic and cooked perfectly- medium rare. Pairing with a wine is a must! I also recommend trying the whiskey flights.

Came here for as a treat for my birthday, the waitress we had was super nice and she walked us through the menu since it was our first time here. Ordered the monte grain fed 120D ribeye and pork ribs, they were absolutely delicious and the meat were oh so tender! Dessert (sticky date) was pretty nice but might have been a bit too sweet for my taste. Overall the food and service were on point 👌🏻 would defo recommend

Have eaten here more than once and each time it's been delicious. Steak is a good cut and well cooked (always go Medium-Rare). Sides are also really tasty and there is a good selection of complimenting wines. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. Great for special occasions or date nights.

Amazing juicy and tender steaks, amazing attentive service and a really great overall first time experience to this restaurant. I would highly recommend the place for a special occasion or just for a nice dinner with a beautiful view.
